  • Can you do another Video like this but with words or numbers please this helped me a lot? Amazing Video

  • With letters like C, D, G, H, S and such, does it matter which hand you use? For example, could the 'C' be signed with your right or left hand? Thanks.

  • @Toriasponge Most people stick to the right hand, i.e. 'c' would be signed with just the right hand, unless you're left handed in which case you might find it more natural to use the left. But whichever hand you use you should try to be consistent and stick to that hand! Good question though :)

  • @ithinkmynameismoose Thanks for replying so quick! ^-^ I get it now. Also if you have time would you be able to make a video for My Heart Takes Over by The Saturdays? :)

  • @Toriasponge Aha no worries, I'm putting off writing an essay so I've been replying to everything super speedy today :) Err I've got a fair few requests piled up, I'll have to see if I have time - sorry!

  • @ithinkmynameismoose That's okay, I guessed you'd probably have a load of requests before mine, haha. Thanks anyway! ^-^

  • Best tutorial ive found so far thanks!!

  • This is great moose! I'm gonna start doing some DeafboyOne Deaf friendly Pop Videos soon to help people learn Sign Language more easily. What do you think of Subtitles while Signing? Do you think it would make learning easier? Regards Pete DeafboyOne PS Keep up the good work

  • @deafboyone Ahh just realised I never actually recorded by BSL translation of 'We Don't Have to Shout'! If you still want that translated (I know it was years ago!) I'll put it on my list of songs to film. The videos sound like a great idea for Deaf people/people already learning sign language, whenever I upload a video without subtitles I get requests for subtitles to be put on so yeah, I think they do make it easier, particularly for accommodating different regional dialects.

  • @ithinkmynameismoose cool yes I would be honoured if you could interpret We dont have to shout - I start filming in New Year for the newer stuff. I'll let you know when things start moving. Much love n hugs n rock n roll :) Pete db1

  • where'd you learn bsl? there anywhere to do it free?

  • @rhythm2k4 I learned through evening classes at a local school, they were free for me as I was a student - it's worth shopping around as some centres can offer free or subsidised classes but unfortunately most centres will charge, although for Level 1 it shouldn't be too expensive. You may also be able to have your classes funded by your workplace if they think having an employee who speaks BSL would be beneficial to them.

  • @rhythm2k4 online is free just google youtube bsl, I learned a lot from interpretations of my favourite rock bands - theres too much vested interests in the British Sign Language keeping their language 'pure' I love interpretation and dialect of BSL so learn for free on the internet my friend... :) Pete db1

  • Wow, thanks!I can now spell my name!:D

  • Hi you got few letters wrong K S Q T P you can do that or other way, remember with your A E I O U hand foward, I am giving you adive because i am teacher on BSL level 1 2 Deafblind teacher, good job though

  • @darlingtester1982 Thanks for the advice about the vowels, I'll remember that. I don't think letters 'k s q t p' are 'wrong' though, just different :)

  • very helpful and explained very clearly thank you :) x

  • I find it so interesting how different asl is from British sign language. I watch you go through the finger spelling and I haven't ever seen british sign language that much before, and it seems so weird! But I do like it.

  • @outgoinglady Ahaha, I like how you've picked this up, they totally do! But you get used to it, I'd rather have a bit of a scratch than no nails lol :) Sometimes if I'm talking to someone and I get enthusiastic then I do proper scratch myself, it's a hazard!

  • Can you do some country names, and explain why they have those signs?

  • @Opuskrokus Ooh could do yeah :)

  • this was so awesome it is alot different than the one from america which is where i live it was interesting to watch
