  • U shit get better recording camera and mic stuff. But it was good

  • great tribute! the guitar and the sax comb is great . keep up withe good work!

  • The drummer is miked too loud and the bass solo totally unneccessary. The sax guy has chops tho'.

  • I don't like the sax & guitar combination

  • what a packed house. i can see the camera on that dudes head.

  • Tarnation! very a'nice a' fellows!

  • Great. I love this song.

  • nice audience

  • well boys, not bad at all! I love the guitar. of course we miss Horace, but your performance has a good swing!

  • Yes, Horace was huge. Thanks for the support!

  • Ehh, i would cut back on the volume of the drums a bit more

  • Good stuff - enjoyed listening to this. Very sweet and smooth performance.

  • Thanks for the feedback! Cheers!

  • Thank you Baby!...TAA

  • where would i go about finding the guitar score for this?

  • We played the version right out of the "Real Book." It's a book of Jazz standards that came out of the Berklee School of Music unofficially. It is not in Tab, it is written in music notation. However, if you send me an email, I can probably hook you up with the Sheet music.

  • Greetings from Singapore. I work on this song, so i found ur interpretation. Keep up with the good work....

  • Thanks Jimo.

  • ehhhh theres something wrong, the swing is way to heavy with out the backup of the precussion it sounds empty and confused, theres something wrong with the beat

  • It's latin, not swing.

  • Trying to post

  • I thought you guys did a good job with this -- Horace would be OK with it. I seem to be having tech trouble posting here, links and such, so I will just say that online I am known as Manifesto Joe's Texas Blues. That should get you there, if you want me to put something else on the post. I'd be happy to.

  • jews !!!!!!!!!!!! they do it very fine.

  • really good! i think i've seen you in a jazz club in florence!

  • probably my favourite piece of Jazz of all time.

Thanks so much - and well done!

  • Thanks for the kind comments!

  • that's a habit i had when i started many years back, sax guy - relax your left shoulder when u play!

  • GREAT!!!......check our version :)

  • Nice job. Enjoyed it. This is one of my favorites too. And forget the people that "rag" on you about your faith - whatever faith you choose!

  • We are having a Jazz/Folk event at our church on June 23, and this is one of the tunes that I am going to play with our group. I love the double message of the title, about our earthly father and our heavenly father.

  • Wonderful. I have a short video of this song on YouTube also. I just love this tune! Be playin' it on May 17th at our final school concert. Gotta love Horace Silver.

  • This tune is a jewel. I think the first time I remember hearing it was George Benson's version. So lyrical!

  • that's tight... the quartet i play in plays this song to get tips sometimes. check out my vids thx

  • cool! but you scared the old man away, your only audience!!

  • Whoa.. this'll be the next piece we'll be playing in school for our Jazz band....
