the absolute best skywalker figure is from the expanded universe series of luke as a sith. It's very similar in appearance to the figure shown in this video but has a red sith lightsaber as well as a blaster pistol. 12 years later and I still remember that figure and wish I had it even though I don't collect action figures.

It's a great action figure because you get to see Palpatine strip down to his basic natural clone form. Interesting concept and it ties into the running theme through out the series.

I'm pretty sure the original Emporer had better taste in under garment, but it goes to show the creepyness of the Sith clone.

Do you have the Darth Talon & Cade Skywalker pack yet because they're great figures though the twilek siths light saber is very rubbery weak and cade comes with a wierd double barrel shot gun blaster pretty nice detail so if you don't have that pack I suggest you go on and check it out

Ok, if you don't know: after the destruction of the second death star and the death of Lord Vader and the emperor, the emperor spirit traveled to Byss, where he had prepared clonebodies for staying alive...

And later; Luke became his apprentice... he discovered that the emperor was nearly invinciible, so he didn't have any choice...

But later, Luke escaped from the emperor by the help from Leia and Anakin solo (not born yet)...

hey Sithlord, actually the art isn't dated it's just the style of the artist. It's a great story. The Emperor has clones of his younger self that he goes into . Luke and Leia must combine their powers to defeat him.

The comic was a part of the "Dark Horse publications" if I remember correctly. I have them all and I think they were released in the mid 90ties. I know I have them stored with my TransFormers comics.

I don't know about you guys, but I absolutely love the comic packs. Not only do I feel like they are good value, but I was always a huge fan of the SW comics. Also, the admiral thrawn comic pack that came out is excellent. I finally have an admiral thrawn that cost under 20 :-p

The Dark Empire Saga is the best damn thing I ever read. Book One is kind of a letdown, but you have to read it to get Dark Empire II and Empire' End. Also Dark Empire II and Empire' End are now in one book.
