@TheMarioXaveir Actually Nintendo said they're just putting Mario Party on hiatus. Wii Party isn't going to replace MP due to MP being a success for the last 12 years. Remember Hudson Soft and Nintendo are working on something seperately so they don't have time to think about making another Mario Party. This isn't the latest Mario Party Mario Party DS is. If they do, then it will start lots of tension between gamers.

Simple reason why I don't want online: The game takes at least an hour to play, can you imagine playing through to the last turn and the guy on the other end quits?!

I never had a gamecube, I only got a wii a few months ago, and I got a gamecube pad just to be able to play games like Mario Sunshine which I think is unique! Mario Galaxy is great, but I get tired of them little planets, I need to feel as if I'm on flat ground with a cool environment!
I don't know if this game is too easy or if I'm just a mario party 8 master, but the first time I played this game AI players were on hard and i still kicked their asses.

No coin-stealing Boo; too many "quests for stars" (you know, "the first one who reaches Goomba with 50 coins wins" thing, the stupid "invest in a hotel in order to get a star" thing,...): only one board uses the original "give me 20 stars and I'll move to another space" formula; the addition of 2 stupid characters, which do not fit in a Mario Party game (imo) AND Donkey Kong is not playable, which is a SHAME!

Mario 64 - Challenging and very fun, a little tedious at times.
Mario Sunshine- Mostly designed for people who are already familiar with Mario 64 and raises the difficulty bar several times. Can be very annoying.
Mario Galaxy. Not too hard. Not easy either. Like Mario 64. Amazingly entertaining and my favorite game.

Eh,I don't know,I think I may just stick to my Mario Party 7,since I don't get any Motion control hassle,and some of these Minigames look really tedious.On the other hand,there are better boards,such as that one city where you buy buildings,replacing windmillville,where the path you took depended on order of players,while the city you get to choose your path!Eh,I'll have to think about it

@phubans many other people said this game was overall good the down side is theres no online but this was released pretty early in the wiis lifespan.i heard one reviewer said it kinda felt like other mario party games.i didnt mind this because i never played a mario party game.one review gave it a 4 out of 5 with the rating aweasome.that review was from frequenzy

He didnt say that mario sunshine was a bad game, just that it had a bad story... or rather it had a story and cutscenes with voice actors.
The mario games that have a story and that are good are the rpg mario games.
Dont take me worng though, i loved mario sunshine, its a damn great game
