  • Hah! This is so funny, if one's native tongue is English, of course.

  • danm all that waiting between the sentences makes this video realy realy bad.

    it makes it boring.

  • I like you video, it is intelligently made.

  • i m not so fluent in English, but however seems like the definition for 'dust' is wrong..it says 'fine powered material that is easily blown about'.is must be corrected as 'fine powdered' right??i don't know exactly, just check and see..

however a great video!i enjoyed it a lot!

  • @MrKasunRox Yes, it should be powdered. It must be a typo. Thanks for being so attentive.

    Best wishes,

    Richard

  • "When you have eliminated the impossible,

whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?"

    ~ Sherlock Holmes. <3

    Detective Conan, ftw.

  • I think the best way to learn english is by listening to the Americans first, then learn english - british. I loved the joke by the way, but... how could they NOT notice? I mean They where in the tent when it was stolen, right? And sleeping, of course. They would at least have waken up of the sounds the theives had been making. ;)

  • The punch line is so so funny!

  • Actually, i love the laugh part :))

  • ตลกดีค่ะ ^^ ,,,LOL

  • I do deduce that somebody had also cut down the trees earlier in the night.

  • Esta mismita historia me la pusieron en el examen de selectividad de inglés ! :)

  • I suspect the laugh track is partly to clue in people who are watching to learn English that this is a joke. I suspect the other part is irony. :)

  • @wyvern734 Indubitably my dear wyvern734.

  • Very nice video, I've used it on my lesson :) I agree, laugh track unnecessary.

  • Good, I like it because it is a very interesting story added by clear subtitle and vocabulary explainations. 'Canned laughte' particularly rmakes me feel funny and laughing! Good job, many thanks.

  • English has always been my favourite subject. Thanks for the clip. You have been simply the best ! Awesome! 5 stars from me.

  • Ottimo ... .. ...

  • Very interesting anf full of useful information! The only thing I didn't appreciate very much was the lenght of the "laughs" at the end, if I might say so. But congratulations, and tks for sharing!

  • Thanks for your comments. "Canned laughter" is annoying, isn't it? The question is, did the joke make you laugh?

  • It sure did...it was so "elementary" - after Sherlock reveals it, of course- that I had a good laugh and felt dumb as well, lol. And tks for teaching the term "canned laughter"...cheers!

  • Beautiful.

  • Richard, it is fascinating. It combines interesting information, a very good vocabulary, excellent picture and noise collection, great colours emphasizing the new words - with explanation of words on the right-hand-side.

It is a fascinating performance! Keep on doing such English classes! It must have taken a lot of time to do it secind by second - but it is worth doing. Congratulations!!!
