You gotta have generous parents to buy all the stuff and provide all the transportation you need to earn those badges. The only badges I was ever able to earn were the ones that required no money to buy stuff. Swimming safety, that sort of thing. My parents were cheap. All I had was my bicycle and no money. They only helped me with swimming safety because all it involved was driving me to the pool for the training lessons. Even the Boys Scouts officiall warned kids to stick to cheap badges.
