Really good video. Could you explain some more about the way you make these movies? Do you record with a videocamera or take pictures and put them together like I do. What timeframes do you use, materials etc.... Tell us! :)
@Dutchy1980 - Each frame was taken approx .30 seconds apart and arranged into a slide show. This was taken with a Canon Power Shot w/ auto focus on a software timer. I now use a Canon EOS 30D w/ remote so I can control the focus and duration while on the road.
Great job on the vid. I'm surprised you didn't catch any chemtrails. They are in a lot of the time lapse videos here on YouTube, try the first result for "eiffel time lapse". Everyone MUST see the documentary "Don't Talk About the Weather".
Thanks. I used a digital Canon Power Shot Pro I for this video. I now have a Canon 30D SLR with interchangable lenses. I can manualy control the focus now. I also use a Canon Timer Controller that makes doing timelapse a breeze.
I think the time lapse mode on the camera is very interesting. You can do so many things with it. It is especially good at capturing facial expressions when doing the editing.
btw Your comment on my Buckingham Palace video vanished but was it you that asked how much it was to get in? £15 for adults, £8 for children! (sorry if it wasn't you!)
That's great. I like the shot of the clouds flying overhead and off into the distance. Kinda wish you could see that everyday when you walk outside. The sunlight sliding up the walls is great too.
After putting together the 1st cloud sequence, it surprised me to see the direction they were moving from. It's usually an east/west pattern but this time they traveled north.
Absolutely beautiful. A superb match of music to an exquisite melody of nature. How nice to find!

this is great - how many frames per second on each scene? do you have a rule of thumb?
r0mm3l 2 years ago
Thanks. If I remember correctly, the wall shadows was 30 sec per frame, the clouds were 10 seconds per frame.

That was just fantastic Tess.
I loved the beginning of the vid, in the room, with the shadows going across the floor and up the wall.
I can see that you have 'the eye',you 'see' what is going on around you,you observe.
;)10x10...Excellent.
