wow, shows what tens of thousands of dollars of unnecessary mods can do to a vehicle that is very capable out of the box. Not trying to be a hater, but this seems ridiculous and bloated. I still haven't seen you do anything a well equiped rubicon can do easily, and with those tires you guys have your rigs seem more like those stupid amphibious russian rigs than a serious offroad vehicle. Oh, and it's spelled VIDEO...just thought you should know.
not trying to talk shit really wondering. what was the point and advantage of ditching the solid axles in favor of 4 wheel independent suspension? besides the obvious "because we can"
@mblrw2 We would like to start attending events like those in the coming year. We are trying to get a local group of trucks to be sponsored as there are high costs involved with traveling etc.
why not just do a 4 link suspension? i like your jeep but that independent suspension looks like it would break easier than a solid axle and 4 links flex like crazy
This particular trip a 4 link would not have made it because of the off camber stuff. These suspensions are adjustable. We can raise or lower each corner together or seperately to tighten up or loosen the suspension.
Sorry, had an odd typo there. I read that Geby's rig had 2.5t Gama Goat axles with Power-Lok when he won the 97 TTC. Was wondering if that was true or if it was really the 1.5t stuff on your website. That's what I was asking.
sick rides. that jeep won the top truck challenge a few years ago if im not mistaken. and i think it has a big block cadillac engine.

jdster199 2 years ago
Are you asking how many workers do we have? We have some full time and several jobs are contracted out to specialty shops.
gocms 2 years ago
@gocms what do you mean jobs don't you just do this for fun?
jdster199 2 years ago
approx. how much to build one?
gjones427 2 years ago
Take a deep breath. Over $100K. I know it's a lot, but the snow is sooo deep we had to do something a bit radical.

So does Geby's stuff 2.5t and the other stuff 1.5 rated?
lurch420 3 years ago
HI, not sure but think you are talking about the axles. They are all the same 1.5 T rated. They are plenty tough and have survived for years.

gocms 3 years ago
Thats sweet! Now I am really excited! Did you put on a new hood? Do the baja claws work good in the snow? it looks like they did.
chevytruck200 3 years ago
New hood? Which one? They are all custom. The tires, we are still voting on them. Likely moving to 49's.
