  • Bitch Shot (Lung/Gut Shot) that's all these guys are doing. I'm a real hunter Head Shot Kills or I don't even try. I know this is gonna piss off lots of people but there's no challenge when you got a target as big as a Small Pick up & all they can do is Bitch shot?? Common wheres the skill in that? I dunno maybe it's just because I was raised different and was taught to give animals a clean & quick death.

  • Turn that crappy music off

  • hey guys, great footage, visit in pursuit 365 to see some vermont moose hunts

  • Lots of people in this forum are PMSing. Just watch the video.

  • I once was charged by a house cat while i was using a treat can to call it in. I then shot it with an arrow right in the lungs. you can see the whole thing on my channel

  • cameras and hunting just dont mix IMO. The opposite kinda thing.

  • To all these people against hunting, you have no idea what your talking about, hunters probably know way more about nature then you and your new "hip" modern ideas about it. Hunting isn't about just shooting a gun and killing something its takes a ton of patience and understanding natures surroundings. Huntings been around for 2 million years your not going to change anything.

  • All you tree huggers can fack right off; us hunters have bigger brains from eating quality protein, so suck our dicks you lame assed mudder fackers

  • I'm not a hunter, (and know nothing about it, really) and have nothing against it. I got a question for you; I imagine you can't shoot moose by the roadside but that you have to walk into the bush for a considerable distance. So once you kill an animal that weighs half a ton, how do you get that animal back to your truck? In other words, how do you get those moose steaks from the bush to your table? helicopter? LOL!

  • @DrFlippin Depends exactly where you are and what equipment you have. A few options include: using an ATV with some kind of trailer, packing it out with horses, or quartering it up and packing it out with sheer man power. Its not always easy, in fact, its usually the toughest part of the hunt.

  • @steveroundlake Thanks for taking the time to educate me. I thought that there was some effort & hardship in getting the food to your table- because all of these hunting videos seem to only show the 'fun' part of the hunt, making it all look like a vacation in the woods. I'm sure its hard work, under some tough conditions...

  • Fuck off all hunters who are hunting becauce of trophies!!!NO respect to theme!

  • No one would kill a moose with their bare hands because that's impossible.

  • do you eat them cos there big bastards

  • that sux..

  • Well that's great if you belive that. But I believe the Earth isn't as old as they say it is. I believe the Earth is no more then 5000 years old. Either you belive in God or you don't, i'm not looking for a religious debate here.

  • @jamesgates12 i'm with you all the way

  • @jamesgates12 It's not a question of belief when you have facts against fiction

  • @PdashT - Like I said not looking for a religious debate.

  • The people who don't like hunting are probably vegans or something.

Go marry a carrot then!!!! God put these animals on the Earth for me to hunt and eat!

  • @jamesgates12 Your god most certainly didn't put any animals on my planet. Moose have been here longer than humans. (Alces latifrons lived here over two million years ago and modern humans about 200,000 years ago.)

  • @PdashT but human esque apes lived around that time

  • awsome vvvvvvviiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidddddddddddddddddddddddddddd

  • lol when i go outside i love to listen to nature... until something walks into my sites then i add a few sounds to nature lol

  • if some of you don`t like hunting .. why do you watch these amazing videos... i never see a soy bean harvest on here .. so why don`t you tree hugs go make you own videos..and leave these videos to the real men and women who enjoy them.

  • Some of those moose look like they belong in Alaska or the Yukon. I didn't know they got so big in Maine.

  • @able223 Then why are you looking up this stuff? Go look up trees growing or some shit!! Gosh people like you piss me off

  • D': dont shoot the moose! go hunt a freakin deer. deer aren't as awesome as moose.

  • hate ppl like yall

i bet you never taken a picture in your life or ever just sat and listened to the nature

ever time yall go out you dont need to hunt

  • My family ARE experienced outdoors-man, avid moose hunters with 60 yrs (100+ Bulls) successful hunts.

We have fed and raised (which I am a part of) our family for years (I am now 49) on Moose meat. It doesn't get much better!! I often feel bless to help others understand or take the time to appreciate those people who choose to hunt for their meat.

Also, I have a lot of respect others opinions...but in that same voice I DO NOT reticule non-hunters.

    Thanks for sharing your video

  • I'd really like to see one of those moose rip your guts out.

    Sadistic perverts.

  • @ypoonsus fuck off. you saying their sadistic over a moose and then talking about moose ripping guts out? what are you 5?

  • what song is it in the video?

  • different areas call for different techniques. areas where bulls used to respond to the call, no longer works. some places are getting impossible to get them to come to you. other areas it still works. stalking will always be around, but you have to be able to make the long shots to really be a rounded hunter.

i like the added challenge of a 5-600 yard shot.

  • Im geting a Hunting license next year in 2010 :)

  • Sick. There's gotta be better ways to get a kick.

  • not too many better ways to get 800-1000 lbs of meat for $50

  • OMG i miss being in moose camp ! I miss you Dad ! Shoot straight !

  • great video!

  • Vad var det som var knäppt i den här videon? kan inte se att de skulle ha gjort något som inte är etiskt eller hur du nu menar?

    Andreas

  • how can you say this is not hunting? just because you are use to hunting in teams and push the bush doesnt mean everyone has to.

  • wat do u consider hunting?

  • dude shut up...

  • how is it not hunting?

  • Fucking Human Race !

  • hell yeah, we rule! lol

  • wher is this hunting place usa or canada , and what area wmu. thanks great vid

  • its in maine

  • That's a year's worth of meat there.

And I mean meat for breakfast, lunch and dinner for a whole year!

It'll make you grow a massive rack!! :D

  • could you moose hunt in canada? How many can you shoot? And could yuo sell them to buchers?

  • yes, one per province, no

  • i live in alaska and im 13 and ive already shot 3 moose and its a pain in the ass to get to where we hunt we actually shoot the moose from a distance

  • how many moose can you kill a year in alaska? what is the hunting starting age?

  • technically, you go out and hunt as an infant, but it wont happen. it would be good to hunt at an age where they are strong enough to carry them selves, and enough meat, and not complain the entire way though the stalking. idk about amount though.

  • Wish I could hunt up there. Moose is so good!

  • yeah lets wait til it's hands reach away then kill it. how weak. hunting with guides is weak. the whole concept is WEAK. where i live, moose is a delicacy, and we go out there and work to get it, and not pay some douche $1500 to walk in an area where he knows there's a big population. lol you suckers. and for what, antlers? what a waste of an animal.

  • how is it weak? people hunt for the antlers just as much as they do for the meat. and why is it weak to have some one guide you. it is a frist time thing it helps to have a guide to show you the ropes, you have to have to know your way around the place or at least know what to expect.

  • If you don't know how to hunt, then stay outta the bush. If you want to learn how to hunt the proper way, then talk and learn from the people that LIVE off the land, that being first nation people. All this is, is hunting for sport. Comparable to that of killing an elephant for its tusks. Not trying to go on a tyraid with this, I just think hunting guides and the whole concept is just plain ridiculous. I'd learn from my elders anyday of the week over some hunting guide.

  • your lucky you got elders to teach you how to hunt not all are as fortunate as you! i use to have your attitude, ive been rifle hunting all my life, three years ago i took up bow hunting i had no idea what i was doing so i hired a guide to show me the ropes i learnt more in 4 days than i would have over years of doing it my self and now i hunt on my own most of the time. But i do hear you and do understand your frustration a life is sacred if your going to take it then eat it!

  • 1:27 Nice shot, wish they all just fell instead of run for half a mile before they go down.

  • i live in maine and my buddys are guides and they go down on the spot the ol 300's do em in reall whell you juts hit em onec and thell walk off stand there hitt em agin and then go up and hit em in the head and there done

  • I live in maine and this is not your typical outing by quite a strech. Guided hunts are the way to go, but don't expect what you see. seems like bowhtr2 wasn't seen a porno yet, oh wait, his buddy made the video. space out the run for the stores boys, they may be out of stock....

  • dude bows arent all that you think they are, they both kill but usually people use compound bows which don't need much strength to pull. so you think all the people fighting for our country in the military are not real fighters? don't bash another type of hunting until you try both.

  • haha i'm trying to decide on what to hunt XD i usually hunt turkeys but i want to go after some big games, but i love deer and elk and bears lol so i'm not sure haha so far i think ill go for moose, any other ideas?

  • Because it would be hard to eat them while they are still alive, you sick bastard. Where are you getting this coward thing from? Just pulling it out of your ass I suppose.

  • Throw your gun away and kill it with your bare hands, we'll see how tough you are. That's where I got "coward" from. Fair enough if you're starving and need to eat, that's understandable, I'd do the same. But if you're smiling and getting your picture taken next to it, then it looks like you were doing it out of enjoyment.

  • Don't you think you'd complain a hell of a lot more if they killed it with their bare hands? You'd probably whine about how cruel it was or how much the moose suffered. Seems to me a gun is pretty quick and painless way of going about it. Also maybe the guy is smiling because he now has something to eat? Besides that theirs nothing wrong with being happy over a successful hunt.

  • there's

  • Nice try, but thats wrong.

  • in fact I am right.

    "theirs' means third person posessive

'there's' means there is ...and I was referring to your sentence "Besides that theirs...." your 'theirs' means there is so it would be correct to type 'Besides that there's ...'

and since you are so quick to reply and find me wrong you might like to know that your 'thats' is partially correct yet it is more accurate to use an apostrophy with it like so ...that's ...because it means that is.

  • I thought you were referring to the sentence "it with their bare hands?" Which would be correct, however the sentence you pointed out was in fact wrong, I stand corrected.

  • I agree the "it with their bare hands?" is correct. I'm glad we came to agreement and rather gracefully : ) too!

    pretty good for youtube!

  • Ya no doubt, no use arguing with facts though.

  • TO EAT. I hope you have never eaten meat in your life.. because if you have your even more of a coward.. to eat a steak or hamburger from the grocery store.. at least have the balls to do it yourself. In addition to that it is a way of life in a lot of places in the world..

  • Ah, you're from Australia! Good! Then moose hunting is of no concern to you! Watch videos you like, leave us alone, and fuck off!

  • Nice, How the hell do you get a giant ass moose out of the woods though?

  • i wanna go hunting

  • my mom called out a moose before it was BIGG :)

  • LOL, MOOSE SNIPING FTW! We should open a new sport, a little harder though: Badger Stabbing!

  • but sometimes it challenging to shoot with a rifle you jiggle but im a youngster i can ssay its harder for me but three hundred yards is a pretty good shot and when they are on the run from that far is impressive

  • i got mine 7mins after opening time opening day. 30-06, it ran 2ft and droped. little high on the shot, took the top of the heart clean off. 20ft shot. wasnt the biggest, wasnt the smallest. i was hoping to get one like 4 days into the season, i wanted to ride round and shoot birds lol it was a warmer season and we had a 6-8hr drive ahead of us.

  • I've been fascinated in Moose and they are great creaturs but those moose in this video are huge. Where the fuck where ou when you saw the moose?

  • Whota moose!

  • These guides are the best of the best. You will not see better footage anywhere. Filmed in H-D; this is a must have video. Real people, real fair-chase hunts. Smoldering Lake Outfitters and Oxbow Lodge put the video together and did an excellent job. I can only dream about drawing a Maine moose tag!!!

  • good luck i live in maine and am 16 years old. Ive put in every year and nothing. My dads put in sence the moose hunting season opened aggain 20 whatever years ago and never gets drawn. Easiest animal in maine to hunt too, its too bad only out of state leaf peepers get tags drawn.

  • awesome footage... its about time somebody did something other than another deer hunting video... keep up the good work!

  • WOW.

    captivating for sure.

the music and footage was mezmerizing.

i can not wait to get this video.

i have been a guest on a moose hunt and it was hair raising, this video seems to have captured it. these guys have obviously done it right and done this before. nice to see something that looks like it will be quality and not just thrown together to make a quick buck. this seems to be the real deal. i WILL get it and can't wait to watch it on the big screen at the house.

  • WOW.

    this is exciting.

can't wait to see the full video.

if this is a sample of whats to come...holy cow.

it kept me on the edge of my seat and ready to shoot the moose myself.

been putting in for tags for several years now and this can help fill that void for sure.

classic real life looking footage, not easy to get, these gys have obviously done many things right.

  • holy cow. this footage is unbelievable. if the footage to come is liek this count me in.

i have been on a moose hunt as a guest and it was an exhillerating experience to say the least. this footage seems to capture the reality of it all as seen from the hunters eyes. WOW. cna't wait to get my hands on the new dvd.
