if the cold war had gone nuclear there would b no northern hemisphere the usa and ussr would hav nuked each other off the map and the resulting nuclear fallout would have wiped out most life in the northern hemisphere. its a scary thought
The Tsar 1 bomb is biggest and economiest H-bomb ever dropped, its confirmed. But there are some rumors, that the russians build simultan a Tsar 2 bomb wich has a Uranium cloak and has 8 small usual nuclear bombs as detonator wich has about 2-3 times bigger destruction. After Tsar 1 detonate they was scared by so much power and they better to decide to demount the tsar 2. But this are only rumors.
Uh, hate to break this to you, Skippy...but the largest yield US Nuclear test was Castle Bravo, which yielded 15Mt. The Titan II once housed a 20Mt weapon, but was later scaled back to 9Mt. The 20Mt bomb was the largest bomb ever built by the US. Source, Chuck Hansen, the man who chronicled the entire US nuclear stockpile. It is the definitive reference on the subject.
the only reason the russians made such a big bomb because the americans were so many years ahead that they had way more. The russins could attain an equal advantage by just dropping one huge bomb on an area.

@Dreadnought942 i didnt say nuclear fission i said nuclear bomb read it dum ass and you probly dont know what the word copying means because it is considerd copying if someone has something (like the nuclear bomb) and someone else copys it and if you tried to say germans created the nuclear bomb for america your a dum ass read some documants and reply on stuff on the subject
@Dreadnought942 o know its bad and if america didnt make that bomb there would be a possibility that we would be speeking german right now so the nuclear bomb save every asian black jew and race besides the whites and you probly think russia a hard ass because of the nuclear bomb your joke
i don't know where you got your english education or your history.
The bomb was dropped on hiroshima and nagasaki because they refused to back off.
america basically wanted the "easy way out" so they killed thousands and made an area inhospitable for years to come. not to mention fucked new generations
and no. if it wasn't for russia even nukes wouldnt have saved you from hitler.
again. i prefer people start working on something peacefull. you're a joke here.
@Dreadnought942 russia hahaha they were pussys and backed out until the nazis attacked you and the only reason they won is because the nazies werent ready for the cold o and also we are not taking oil from iraq we should but were not ever country thinks this we should take the oil but were not with obama as president we r being a kiss ass to opek to get fucking oil and america has the largest oil reserve so i dont see why we would take oil from another country
@kirbyroxy the russians werent pusses at all. HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE difference between France and being FORCED to retreat. And the ruskies won not just because of the cold but that played a strategic factor in their victory, theyre tanks were far superior to the nazi panzers and we americans dont have the largest oil reserve in the world and we use our oil very quickly so we get oil from the Middle east you fucking 5 year old
@kirbyroxy Desert storm was just the beggining of your oil genocides, through the world. You have the world's largest oil reserves?Propaganda of your state is making you Yanks even dumber than ever,so that,if your government would announce that darth Vader is attacking, you would believe. You think your wars are just?Maybe for you and your bosses who are killing everything because of profit.Turn of your TV.Turn on your brain.Your state needs to be taken care of,and Russians and Chinese will do it
The US did not test a device with over 15MT. THe US had created 6 42000 bomb with a 25MT warhead, the bomb was too heavy. The US airforce tested by dropping a 42000 dummy bomb from a plane, the pilot said when the bomb was released, the plane was actually released!!!!!. Those 6 overweight bombs were decommissioned about 1958. In the early 60s' the US commissioned 54 TITAN2 missile with a 9MT warhead-CEP about 1500Meters.
The Tsar was the biggest by human caused explosion in history. The shockwave was registrated after its 3rd round around the earth. The original explosion would have been 100mt to 150mt. The worldwide nuklear exposure would have grown about 25%!! Because of that the russians did not activate the bigger part of the bomb. It was the part that caused more energy but more nuklear fallout too. They saw this bomb and said to themselfes, that they would never build a bigger one... and they were able to.
The USA deployed a spyplane with a Bhangmeter on board to record the size of the Tsar test in the report it states that the device was 57 MT.They got so close that the front of the fuselage was scorched from the intense heat.Largest USA nuclear test was castle Bravo at 15MT.Also the tsar bomb had the first uraniunm stage of the bomb replaced with a lead stage this was part of the three stage nuclear device the result gave it a 97% burn of nuclear fission making it the cleanest burning nuke ever.
@HJtheminer And that atom bomb will kill you one day... Stop inventing mass-destruction weapon, invent something to make the home EARTH bloom again...
@HJtheminer AND YOUR PROUD OF THAT? being a country that invented something that killed many people in japan and lead to the construction of weapons that could destroy mankind, even the A-bombs creator hated what he had done
@ChrisBeale2008 You honestly think if Japan had created the "bomb" first, they wouldn't have used it on the U.S.? This country defended itself, the way any other country would have. It didn't lead to the construction of those weapons, we were simply the first to get it right. Had we not, we might not even be here. Everyone bitches about destroy mankind this, destroy mankind that, only... they've been used once in war, it didn't destroy mankind, it helped end something horrible... pessimist...
@aerowenn japan wouldnt of got it first, the only reason you even used it was for political reasons, high ranking American politicans and generals have confirmed that you was trying to send a message to the Soviet union, as for your 2nd point watch films like threads, the day after, that is what these weapons are capable of, all it takes is a general in charge of a nuclear bomber wing to go a little nuts and bam society gone, also its been used more than once, civilians have been killed by tests
@ChrisBeale2008 That's good theory and all... but as I recall the USSR was one of "The Big Three" along with the U.S. Sure, a bomber could go a little nuts, but a bomber today doesn't have permission on its own to launch a nuke, neither does a sub, or ship, or any other vehicle that could potentially launch a nuke. Even if they crashed, it wouldn't detonate, I'm assuming you know a little of the mechanics of a nuclear bomb, and why this is. Civilians have been killed by many things. War is bad.
@aerowenn yes they have failsafe codes, but most generals who have bomber wings have access to those codes because if the president is took out you have to have counter attack capabilities, watch dr strangelove quite a possible situation despite it being a comedy, even if the bomb does not explode its still capable of leaking radation or even being found, and activated by terrorists, infact terrorists probably already have at least one, they could easily fake it being an action of russia or usa
@aerowenn not to mention the fact you attacked two non-military cities, both wouldnt of had a major military affect, you just set out to kill civilians, if you really wanted to truly end japans war effect why not go for their emperor or main military centres then if they still didnt give in, use them on cities, as for your comments about americans being better, well youve been copying other nations tech since ww2 and your nukes are 2nd place Russia has both more and stronger ones.
@ChrisBeale2008 The non-military locations of the attacks were for a psychological effect... they were comprised of older buildings containing a lot of wood, wood burns, fire scares people. Do you honestly think they didn't kill American civilians in the attack on Pearl Harbor? When did I say America was better? Can you point that out please? Also, why do you think I care if Russia has better nukes lol? So what if they do. This was about our attack on Japan... You're attempts to upset me are sad
@aerowenn But, yes, the Americans are better than all other countries. Hey! What did we do? WE INVENTED THE A-BOMB! << your first comment proves you said america us better, pearl harbor was a military target, you held half your damn fleet there, and even the ships which was not there was supposed to be im not saying killing civilians is bad, its part of war but america went out of its way to do it, those cities had very little military importance, stop talking out your ass like most Americans
@ChrisBeale2008 Because you're comment to him brought about what I said. Don't get mad because you made a foolish mistake by not reading who you're talking to... and you're calling me the moron.
@ChrisBeale2008 HJtheminer said that. Killing any human life is bad, regardless if they are civilian or military, they are still people, the Japanese made a bold move and attacked the U.S. on our own soil, they got what they deserved, and it worked, end of story. Two cities wouldn't have been bombed if their government would have surrendered on the first, so blame their leaders. I'm done here.
@aerowenn they attacked a legit miltary target, you put your entire fleet in one place thats like saying "please attack me" you attacked civilians who was being brainwashed and controlled by their leaders....well done...you and the US should be really proud
@ChrisBeale2008 Wow, what makes civilians being brainwashed lives any more important than the lives lost at Pearl Harbor? Even if it did say "please attack me" you think it was the right thing to do? You agree with their move? They started the fight, they brought it on themselves, and they paid for it dearly. The whole situation was a bad one, both sides of it, as humans I hope we can do better in the future. But the retaliation was justified. I'll say it again, it did the job.
@aerowenn IT DIDNT DO THE JOB, THE FIRST BOMB THEY KEPT GOING AFTER, IT TOOK A SECOND FOR THEM TO EVEN CONSIDER SURRENDER! the lives lost at pearl harbor was from lack of military intelligence and communication by the americans, you didnt get the warning out quick enough, im not defending the japanese they started a war but they attacked military targets which in war are legit, what you did is the same as going to a village and killing civilians and burning it down
@aerowenn and my country is no better we destroyed dresden in Germany because it creates fear, difference is the germans didnt give in. and you replied attack my comment and agreeing with his so my comment is justified. yours is not
@aerowenn let me give you a question say we was at war, you and i and you attacked and destroyed a section of my body...according to your logic i could then bomb your house taking out you and others and that would be fine...thats essentially what you are allowing just on a larger scale, its you pattern of thought that makes nuclear war possible because if people like you go "if we are attacked and wiped out, we will take the other side with us"
@ChrisBeale2008@ChrisBeale2008 I'm not saying nuclear weapons are or should be the answer to an attack, they are a bad option, if anything because of radiation. I wasn't attacking your reply because I agree with the other guy, I was attacking it because it suggested the U.S. invented, and brought about these powerful weapons all on our own, when other countries would have regardless.
@aerowenn im not saying other countries are not to blame, they was all working on them, but the US used them first, without warning, they also had the information stolen from them which would lead to the soviet, brits and french developing atomic and hydrogen bombs, its such a pointless weapon, once its used it doesnt jsut kill it infects, its both chemical and explosive warfare, the living end up envying the dead, why would any nation be proud of being the FIRST to make them let alone use it
@ChrisBeale2008 HJtheminer doesn't speak for a whole nation in saying that he's proud of it, our whole nation doesn't speak in those terms. He most certainly doesn't speak for me. I'm proud that we had the technology, the advancement, to take such small mass and produce so much energy, I think that will play a key role in our eventual survival as a species, a lot of good advancement can come from it, to produce power, and etc. But I'm not proud that anyone used them as weapons...
@ChrisBeale2008 ...they're cool to look at, awe inspiring even, to see that much energy. Being in the field I'm in, I can't help but marvel at physics at work. But like I said, no, they shouldn't be used as weapons.
@ChrisBeale2008 I do still stand behind my country and it's attack on Japan though, there was a lot more that came from that besides death and destruction.
@ChrisBeale2008 The logic behind body parts doesn't make sense, if my body was a country and your body was a country, you attacked a part of mine like my hands or feed (something that could be used as defense like military) it would be like me retaliating by attacking your stomach. There are no legit targets in war, it's human life and property either way, families, loved ones, and etc. I agree, you shouldn't attack helpless people, but it was the only way to get it done in that situation.
@geod5 And after that they rethink that 57 will be downsized to 50 or 51 mt, i kinda don't remember the number 7 near the 5, so...i think it was 50-51 mt made, not 57.
LOL. Look at all these Russians commenting like "blah blah blah Tsar NUMBER 1, RUSSIA #1!!" Maybe 70 years ago Russia actually mattered, but nowadays not even the USA matters. China is the next superpower. We as Americans are so ignorant(but not nearly as much as the Russians) and are taught to believe that "America is NUMBER 1 because GOD SAID SO." America reminds me of Rip Van Winckle. We went to sleep on top of the world and woke up in China's shit bowl.
@hellagesoon indeed.. US never made a 100MT.. only russia have been above 50.. :) im with u on this one.. n back then. US didnt even get to the moon first.. they faked it all, just to "beat" russia.. :D hehe
@reistje Actually the first Thermonuclear Weapon dropped by the Americans has a yeild of 15 Kilotons which is 15,000 tons of TNT equivalent. That is no way near 3.5 Megatons or 3,500,000 tons of TNT equivalent.
Next thing you know were screwed! Why are we making these sorts of weapons? Winning a war is amazing, but wiping out humanity is going to make our planet black and vacant,we should have never made these, are you with me,thumbs up if yes
You need to check up more facts. Tsar bomba was originaly 100 mt but they haved it to between 50 and 55, them droped it. Castle bravo was USA s most powerful, 15 mt, and that wasn't supposed to be even that. And plus, the guy in the vid didn't say usa tested a 100 mt

@Isteer100 You obviously know your stuff - what about the Tunguska explosion in Siberia? That was a bit of a pop and all, wasn't it? Too lazy to go look it up in a book...
The next SuperVolcano is going to be fun, too, espesh if it's Yellowstone. I don't think there'll be too many of us around to tell the story. You almost get the feeling the Universe is sneering "huh! Call that an explosion? THIS is an explosion!" Or maybe I've been sniffing the cat litter again....
@Isteer100 You're quite right; I put that badly. If I remember rightly, Santorini/Thera is thought to have been what initiated the collapse of the Minoan Civilisation, but that may just be one author's pet theory. Big old bang though...
The Big Bang - e=mc2 in reverse - matter from energy (massively simplified for my small chicken brain!) Where did the energy come from is the next q, and that's when I excuse myself for a lie down!
Complete bollocks about the Tsar Bomba being the 2nd biggest bomb in the world by the way. To this very day, it was the largest, most physically powerful device ever detonated by humanity, and the US didn't even bother prototyping, let alone detonating anything bigger than 25kt, while the Tsar Bomba was around 50kt when it detonated, and in it's complete form could've reached approx. 100kt. The most powerful bomb actually detonated by the US was 15kt "Castle Bravo".
Cancer happens when the cells are genetically structurally damaged thus are missing information in the process they are designed to follow. If they don't follow the intended Born.Grow.Die. process they grow uncontrolled. This damage is far from limited to radiation as a cause. Although as you said, the dispersed radiation we are intentionally putting into the atmosphere is an obvious cause for Cancer incidences increasing at a catastrophic rate.
The most powerful and destructive weapons program is still being designed.... They are trying to control the weather systems and the oscillation of tectonic plates.... One day we will wipe ourselves out and leave beetles and ants to evolve and rule the world....
this is stupid the largest bomb ever created was the tsar bomba russian made america has not and will never create a bomb bigger because of international law
@lethrahn actually its a treaty not a law. there is no internatinal laws period. there are some international hand signs i would like to show you one. nllm
The inferiority of men... the most creative and startling breakthrough in the collective terrestrial history of humanity, and of all knowledge to man (i.e. the atomic sciences) was applied as an instrument of mass genocide and terror. Certainly, atmospheric and subterranean nuclear tests are largely responsible for the changes in global climate, increases in cancer, superbug bacterium and various other anomalies. Further, “The Wheel” has done as much damage as anything else, in our shared world.
@NMWMN no science can explain cancer, super bugs without resorting to superstitious beliefs. it doesnt explain climate change because it doesnt try. the nuclear bombs have a castrating effect on war wouldn't you say?
@datzfast Look at the appearance of cancer over the last 100 years. With escalated instances since post WWII releasing so many RADS into the global atmosphere & knowing the relationship between radiation, nukes, health, ecology & weather patterns provides a very obvious argument for speculation. Superbugs are no superstition. Look at “A Time-Lapse Map of Every Nuclear Explosion Since 1945 - by Isao Hashimoto” and take 15 minutes to see just how much radiation has been distributed globally.
@NMWMN Cancer did not appear in the last 100 years. Heres the science to explain Cancer.
Cells in the body can be affected by a number of DNA altering factors which can include radiation, of which the Sun belts out plenty of which some is absorbed by and stored by planets. Other factors include toxins, natural pollutants, H.P.V virus to name umbrellas for a few. Amygdalin (research) has been proven and denied to prevent secondary tumors. It is a vitamin found in bitter, phased out fruit seeds.
@sylontuk ... i did't say 'cancer has appeared in the last 100 years'. I know all about cancer, but thank you for the memories... I'm sure if you lok hard enough you will be able to buy a block of land on a disused test site somewhere in the world where you can settle down and enjoy the fruits of radiation and the degradation of your physiology while you search for genital warts and chew on apple seeds in the sun. Enjoy your clean energy retirement! Don't bother responding, we are not compatible
@NMWMN And I didn't say I wanted to '' buy a block of land on a disused test site somewhere in the world where you can settle down and enjoy the fruits of radiation and the degradation of your physiology while you search for genital warts and chew on apple seeds in the sun'' Thats about as logical as your reply..
The first atomic bomb by the U.S. was made around 1941, (5.2 megatons). The Tsar bomb was made in 1961 or before, (100 megatons). Leverage here speaks for common sense here that if they were able to do that big of a jump between that time period. Then it being the year 2011 there is the possibility of about a 250 or more megaton increase in the world's biggest bomb that we don't know about. I'd say more than 250. Could be way more depending on all technological advancements.
@42playerOFfate42 The test of the first atomic explosion in history was conducted at the Jornada del Muerto trail (Journey of Death) at the Alamagordo Bombing Range in New Mexico. The device was called Gadget, the whole test operation was code-named TRINITY. On July 16, 1945, 5:29:45 a.m. (Mountain War Time) Gadget was detonated. The exact yield was originally placed at 18.6 kT on the basis of radiochemical tests. Since the projected yield was only 5-10 kT. A Megaton is 1000 kilotons.
@42playerOFfate42 there is no physical upper limit to the size of a hydrogen bomb, the russian bomb was designed at 100 megaton but was changed at the last moment to 50 for safety reasons.
@datzfast That is 1960s Russian propaganda, and a complete lie.
The Russians detonated the weapon, which was as big as they could possibly make it: it was essentially a smaller weapon in a tank of deuterium. It was a propaganda stunt, and never intended or capable of being an actual deployable weapon. The Russians claimed the explosion was 100 MT for years, then finally admitted it was less than half that, but then falsely claimed they deliberately made it smaller for safety reasons.
The largest bomb was Soviet. It was the Czar bomb. It was origianally designed to be 100MT but was scaled down to 50MT. When he says "they tested a 100 Megaton bomb" he is talking about the Russians and that bomb was scaled down to 50 megatons. The USA never came anywhere near that size of bomb. What we did have was far more arccurate targeting than the Russians, so did need the overkill of a 50MT device.
The Soviets sucked as far as accurate delivery systems back in the day. To make up for it, they made really big damn bombs and warheads. This freakishly large bomb was a demonstration to threaten the west. Even though the cold war ended, the Russians never stopped making new ICBM's. Crazy stuff...they even use nuclear-tipped missiles as an ABM defense for Moscow!?! They really like nukes!
Just putting this out there for anyone who wants to know- A nuclear bomb big enough to litterally blow the earth to pieces would have to be 1 spetillion megatons. Thats more mass of tnt then the earth.
this is correcct....the USA had the largest bomb ever created......250megatones. they didnt set it off for the damage it would cause. but russia didnt care about fallout or damage to the earth.
@beergut111 No, they didn't. The largest bomb they had was the Castle Bravo weapon. It was projected to 5 MT but someone fucked up and in reality it yielded 15 MT. Now, this seriously fucked up the Bikini Attol with both more fallout damaging both the environment and the returning people that had lived on the islands before. The US wanted this fact to be kept secret. I guess they figure that cancer among a couple of islanders..
@Scootertuner1000 that was the largest the USA tested.....i cant go into detal for security reasons but the USA has the largest one......they still do.
Actually, the Tsar bomb developed by the Russians and it was only gepfült to 1 / 3 sun size: it destroys parts of Russia and was getästet on an island. She also was not but a nuclear bomb from TNT and not uranium or plutonium.
Santorini was a way bigger explosion than Krakatoa - blew itself to pieces, probably ended the Minian civilisation. Or the asteroid that hit and wiped out the dinosaurs, then 80% of life on earth. Anything we can do, the universe just shits all over. Abd what about the Big Bang itself? Enough energy to create all the matter around today?
@Horacechicken The asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs produced energy equal to 100 Teratons of TNT or 100,000,000 Megatons. Tsar Bomba was a mere 50 Megatons and even Today the Earth's entire Thermonuclear arsenal of weapons only tops out at about 5,000 Megatons.
the largest explosion of modern times that man knows about was the eruption of the volcano..on the island of krakatoa..with a yield of 200megatons..it was 4 times the power of the tsar bomb..it killed an estimate of 40.000 people..and could be heard over 3.000 miles away.......now thats an explosion
The Tsar bomb was 57MT not 100 and the largest the US ever tested was Mike at 10.4 MT

@kirbyroxy first of all.
i don't know where you got your english education or your history.

1 if not Russia everyone would be under nazi controll.
if not Russia you americans wouldnt even have the opportunity to drop nukes.
So bassically, i respect the fallen of your own nation. WWII was a monstrous act of inhumanity, of the human creature.
im not proud Of Russians making this bomb.
neither am i happy of you're own nation invading iraq for its oil.
not to mention bringing you're own WTC and blaming it on terrorist....
So wake up.
Dreadnought942 5 months ago
@Dreadnought942 russia hahaha they were pussys and backed out until the nazis attacked you and the only reason they won is because the nazies werent ready for the cold o and also we are not taking oil from iraq we should but were not ever country thinks this we should take the oil but were not with obama as president we r being a kiss ass to opek to get fucking oil and america has the largest oil reserve so i dont see why we would take oil from another country
kirbyroxy 5 months ago
@kirbyroxy the russians werent pusses at all. HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE difference between France and being FORCED to retreat. And the ruskies won not just because of the cold but that played a strategic factor in their victory, theyre tanks were far superior to the nazi panzers and we americans dont have the largest oil reserve in the world and we use our oil very quickly so we get oil from the Middle east you fucking 5 year old

@MegaMrWar the Tsar Bomba is the biggest nuclear bomb ever tested, the video is just wrongfully titled i think.
DOCTOROCTAGONAPUSS 5 months ago
The US did not test a device with over 15MT. THe US had created 6 42000 bomb with a 25MT warhead, the bomb was too heavy. The US airforce tested by dropping a 42000 dummy bomb from a plane, the pilot said when the bomb was released, the plane was actually released!!!!!. Those 6 overweight bombs were decommissioned about 1958. In the early 60s' the US commissioned 54 TITAN2 missile with a 9MT warhead-CEP about 1500Meters.
tartan64tan 5 months ago

@HJtheminer AND YOUR PROUD OF THAT? being a country that invented something that killed many people in japan and lead to the construction of weapons that could destroy mankind, even the A-bombs creator hated what he had done
ChrisBeale2008 7 months ago
@ChrisBeale2008 You honestly think if Japan had created the "bomb" first, they wouldn't have used it on the U.S.? This country defended itself, the way any other country would have. It didn't lead to the construction of those weapons, we were simply the first to get it right. Had we not, we might not even be here. Everyone bitches about destroy mankind this, destroy mankind that, only... they've been used once in war, it didn't destroy mankind, it helped end something horrible... pessimist...
aerowenn 6 months ago
@aerowenn japan wouldnt of got it first, the only reason you even used it was for political reasons, high ranking American politicans and generals have confirmed that you was trying to send a message to the Soviet union, as for your 2nd point watch films like threads, the day after, that is what these weapons are capable of, all it takes is a general in charge of a nuclear bomber wing to go a little nuts and bam society gone, also its been used more than once, civilians have been killed by tests
ChrisBeale2008 6 months ago
@ChrisBeale2008 That's good theory and all... but as I recall the USSR was one of "The Big Three" along with the U.S. Sure, a bomber could go a little nuts, but a bomber today doesn't have permission on its own to launch a nuke, neither does a sub, or ship, or any other vehicle that could potentially launch a nuke. Even if they crashed, it wouldn't detonate, I'm assuming you know a little of the mechanics of a nuclear bomb, and why this is. Civilians have been killed by many things. War is bad.
aerowenn 6 months ago
@aerowenn yes they have failsafe codes, but most generals who have bomber wings have access to those codes because if the president is took out you have to have counter attack capabilities, watch dr strangelove quite a possible situation despite it being a comedy, even if the bomb does not explode its still capable of leaking radation or even being found, and activated by terrorists, infact terrorists probably already have at least one, they could easily fake it being an action of russia or usa
ChrisBeale2008 6 months ago
@aerowenn not to mention the fact you attacked two non-military cities, both wouldnt of had a major military affect, you just set out to kill civilians, if you really wanted to truly end japans war effect why not go for their emperor or main military centres then if they still didnt give in, use them on cities, as for your comments about americans being better, well youve been copying other nations tech since ww2 and your nukes are 2nd place Russia has both more and stronger ones.
ChrisBeale2008 6 months ago
@ChrisBeale2008 The non-military locations of the attacks were for a psychological effect... they were comprised of older buildings containing a lot of wood, wood burns, fire scares people. Do you honestly think they didn't kill American civilians in the attack on Pearl Harbor? When did I say America was better? Can you point that out please? Also, why do you think I care if Russia has better nukes lol? So what if they do. This was about our attack on Japan... You're attempts to upset me are sad
aerowenn 6 months ago
@aerowenn But, yes, the Americans are better than all other countries. Hey! What did we do? WE INVENTED THE A-BOMB! << your first comment proves you said america us better, pearl harbor was a military target, you held half your damn fleet there, and even the ships which was not there was supposed to be im not saying killing civilians is bad, its part of war but america went out of its way to do it, those cities had very little military importance, stop talking out your ass like most Americans

@ChrisBeale2008 Because you're comment to him brought about what I said. Don't get mad because you made a foolish mistake by not reading who you're talking to... and you're calling me the moron.
aerowenn 6 months ago
@ChrisBeale2008 HJtheminer said that. Killing any human life is bad, regardless if they are civilian or military, they are still people, the Japanese made a bold move and attacked the U.S. on our own soil, they got what they deserved, and it worked, end of story. Two cities wouldn't have been bombed if their government would have surrendered on the first, so blame their leaders. I'm done here.
aerowenn 6 months ago
@aerowenn they attacked a legit miltary target, you put your entire fleet in one place thats like saying "please attack me" you attacked civilians who was being brainwashed and controlled by their leaders....well done...you and the US should be really proud
ChrisBeale2008 6 months ago
@ChrisBeale2008 Wow, what makes civilians being brainwashed lives any more important than the lives lost at Pearl Harbor? Even if it did say "please attack me" you think it was the right thing to do? You agree with their move? They started the fight, they brought it on themselves, and they paid for it dearly. The whole situation was a bad one, both sides of it, as humans I hope we can do better in the future. But the retaliation was justified. I'll say it again, it did the job.
aerowenn 6 months ago
@aerowenn IT DIDNT DO THE JOB, THE FIRST BOMB THEY KEPT GOING AFTER, IT TOOK A SECOND FOR THEM TO EVEN CONSIDER SURRENDER! the lives lost at pearl harbor was from lack of military intelligence and communication by the americans, you didnt get the warning out quick enough, im not defending the japanese they started a war but they attacked military targets which in war are legit, what you did is the same as going to a village and killing civilians and burning it down
ChrisBeale2008 6 months ago
@aerowenn and my country is no better we destroyed dresden in Germany because it creates fear, difference is the germans didnt give in. and you replied attack my comment and agreeing with his so my comment is justified. yours is not
ChrisBeale2008 6 months ago
@aerowenn let me give you a question say we was at war, you and i and you attacked and destroyed a section of my body...according to your logic i could then bomb your house taking out you and others and that would be fine...thats essentially what you are allowing just on a larger scale, its you pattern of thought that makes nuclear war possible because if people like you go "if we are attacked and wiped out, we will take the other side with us"
ChrisBeale2008 6 months ago
@ChrisBeale2008 @ChrisBeale2008 I'm not saying nuclear weapons are or should be the answer to an attack, they are a bad option, if anything because of radiation. I wasn't attacking your reply because I agree with the other guy, I was attacking it because it suggested the U.S. invented, and brought about these powerful weapons all on our own, when other countries would have regardless.
aerowenn 6 months ago
@aerowenn im not saying other countries are not to blame, they was all working on them, but the US used them first, without warning, they also had the information stolen from them which would lead to the soviet, brits and french developing atomic and hydrogen bombs, its such a pointless weapon, once its used it doesnt jsut kill it infects, its both chemical and explosive warfare, the living end up envying the dead, why would any nation be proud of being the FIRST to make them let alone use it
ChrisBeale2008 6 months ago
@ChrisBeale2008 HJtheminer doesn't speak for a whole nation in saying that he's proud of it, our whole nation doesn't speak in those terms. He most certainly doesn't speak for me. I'm proud that we had the technology, the advancement, to take such small mass and produce so much energy, I think that will play a key role in our eventual survival as a species, a lot of good advancement can come from it, to produce power, and etc. But I'm not proud that anyone used them as weapons...
aerowenn 6 months ago
@ChrisBeale2008 ...they're cool to look at, awe inspiring even, to see that much energy. Being in the field I'm in, I can't help but marvel at physics at work. But like I said, no, they shouldn't be used as weapons.
aerowenn 6 months ago
@ChrisBeale2008 I do still stand behind my country and it's attack on Japan though, there was a lot more that came from that besides death and destruction.
aerowenn 6 months ago
@ChrisBeale2008 The logic behind body parts doesn't make sense, if my body was a country and your body was a country, you attacked a part of mine like my hands or feed (something that could be used as defense like military) it would be like me retaliating by attacking your stomach. There are no legit targets in war, it's human life and property either way, families, loved ones, and etc. I agree, you shouldn't attack helpless people, but it was the only way to get it done in that situation.
aerowenn 6 months ago

Complete bollocks about the Tsar Bomba being the 2nd biggest bomb in the world by the way. To this very day, it was the largest, most physically powerful device ever detonated by humanity, and the US didn't even bother prototyping, let alone detonating anything bigger than 25kt, while the Tsar Bomba was around 50kt when it detonated, and in it's complete form could've reached approx. 100kt. The most powerful bomb actually detonated by the US was 15kt "Castle Bravo".

Cont- See the book - The Quack who cured Cancer.

NMWMN 8 months ago
@NMWMN no science can explain cancer, super bugs without resorting to superstitious beliefs. it doesnt explain climate change because it doesnt try. the nuclear bombs have a castrating effect on war wouldn't you say?
datzfast 8 months ago
@datzfast Look at the appearance of cancer over the last 100 years. With escalated instances since post WWII releasing so many RADS into the global atmosphere & knowing the relationship between radiation, nukes, health, ecology & weather patterns provides a very obvious argument for speculation. Superbugs are no superstition. Look at “A Time-Lapse Map of Every Nuclear Explosion Since 1945 - by Isao Hashimoto” and take 15 minutes to see just how much radiation has been distributed globally.
NMWMN 8 months ago
@NMWMN Cancer did not appear in the last 100 years. Heres the science to explain Cancer.
Cells in the body can be affected by a number of DNA altering factors which can include radiation, of which the Sun belts out plenty of which some is absorbed by and stored by planets. Other factors include toxins, natural pollutants, H.P.V virus to name umbrellas for a few. Amygdalin (research) has been proven and denied to prevent secondary tumors. It is a vitamin found in bitter, phased out fruit seeds.

42playerOFfate42 8 months ago
@42playerOFfate42 The test of the first atomic explosion in history was conducted at the Jornada del Muerto trail (Journey of Death) at the Alamagordo Bombing Range in New Mexico. The device was called Gadget, the whole test operation was code-named TRINITY. On July 16, 1945, 5:29:45 a.m. (Mountain War Time) Gadget was detonated. The exact yield was originally placed at 18.6 kT on the basis of radiochemical tests. Since the projected yield was only 5-10 kT. A Megaton is 1000 kilotons.
Scootertuner1000 8 months ago
@42playerOFfate42 A 50 Megaton bomb is the same as 50,000 kilotons. That means the 50 megaton bomb is

Scootertuner1000 8 months ago

The Russians detonated the weapon, which was as big as they could possibly make it: it was essentially a smaller weapon in a tank of deuterium. It was a propaganda stunt, and never intended or capable of being an actual deployable weapon. The Russians claimed the explosion was 100 MT for years, then finally admitted it was less than half that, but then falsely claimed they deliberately made it smaller for safety reasons.

@datzfast yeah =/ I found that out after I posted that comment.

If tsar bomba wasn't the biggest then what was?
thefiestytiger 8 months ago
The largest bomb was Soviet. It was the Czar bomb. It was origianally designed to be 100MT but was scaled down to 50MT. When he says "they tested a 100 Megaton bomb" he is talking about the Russians and that bomb was scaled down to 50 megatons. The USA never came anywhere near that size of bomb. What we did have was far more arccurate targeting than the Russians, so did need the overkill of a 50MT device.
Scootertuner1000 8 months ago
The Soviets sucked as far as accurate delivery systems back in the day. To make up for it, they made really big damn bombs and warheads. This freakishly large bomb was a demonstration to threaten the west. Even though the cold war ended, the Russians never stopped making new ICBM's. Crazy stuff...they even use nuclear-tipped missiles as an ABM defense for Moscow!?! They really like nukes!

@BrainCreep So did Reagan..
azynkron 8 months ago
The russians can have the record. We still built 10000 nukes that are capable for delivery.

Just putting this out there for anyone who wants to know- A nuclear bomb big enough to litterally blow the earth to pieces would have to be 1 spetillion megatons. Thats more mass of tnt then the earth.
iowaworker 8 months ago
this is correcct....the USA had the largest bomb ever created......250megatones. they didnt set it off for the damage it would cause. but russia didnt care about fallout or damage to the earth.
beergut111 8 months ago
@beergut111 No, they didn't. The largest bomb they had was the Castle Bravo weapon. It was projected to 5 MT but someone fucked up and in reality it yielded 15 MT. Now, this seriously fucked up the Bikini Attol with both more fallout damaging both the environment and the returning people that had lived on the islands before. The US wanted this fact to be kept secret. I guess they figure that cancer among a couple of islanders..
azynkron 8 months ago
@azynkron yup that's what happened.....but the USA had and still has the largest bomb ever created. 250MT.
beergut111 8 months ago
@beergut111 No they didn't no one has ever had a 250MT bomb. The biggest American bomb was Castle Bravo at 15MT
Scootertuner1000 8 months ago
@Scootertuner1000 that was the largest the USA tested.....i cant go into detal for security reasons but the USA has the largest one......they still do.
just leave it at that.
beergut111 8 months ago
@beergut111 No (the USA) we did not have the largest one.

Tsar is the 1st not 2 nd
mhdmostafa256 8 months ago

Horacechicken 8 months ago 13
@Horacechicken the minoan civilisation survived after the eruption of thera.
what i don't understand is how the hell is the universe here, when there was nothing to begin with?
lsteer100 7 months ago
@Horacechicken The asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs produced energy equal to 100 Teratons of TNT or 100,000,000 Megatons. Tsar Bomba was a mere 50 Megatons and even Today the Earth's entire Thermonuclear arsenal of weapons only tops out at about 5,000 Megatons.

the largest explosion of modern times that man knows about was the eruption of the volcano..on the island of krakatoa..with a yield of 200megatons..it was 4 times the power of the tsar bomb..it killed an estimate of 40.000 people..and could be heard over 3.000 miles away.......now thats an explosion
whatsgoingonthen 8 months ago
Krakatau's explosion was 1800 megatons

it scary that the tsar bomb was detinated in the 60s and look how far technology has come ...no telling what they have now
MJRiley878 8 months ago
This video is talking about the Russian Tsar Bomba, not about the US. The word "they" refers to Russians not Americans. Get your facts right.
