I was listening to the newton faulkner cover of this song and thought to myself  the lyrics where very folkish, Hard to explain but I hear a certain twang in the lyrics and think of western gunslingers, its weird i know.

Hey Ron.. need your honest opinion on something.. what does the bass level sound like to you? Both speakers and headphones? Our PC system can be a little bass shy at times and the stereo speakers bass heavy... just need a fresh pair of ears.

I'm not Ron, but I can say it definitely isn't too light. If you want it up front I would say that it is fine, if you wanted it more in the background it is a touch too heavy.

In any event it didn't distract from the melodic from of the guitar and vocals.

Thats great.. We thought it was ok but after uploading and listening to it via youtube we thought it a tad heavy.. as long as it's not rattlin' the speakers we're happy. Thanks for the feedback, it's very much appreciated.

Hey, it sounds perfect through my speakers... with the headphones, perhaps just a tad loud, but not by much. I think since it is just the two acoustic guitars and voice I notice it more in the headphones. I think you got a very good compromise balance between speakers and headphones. 2nd and 3rd opinion... Video, what can I say, Brand new program straight out the box, didn't quite know what I was doing.. Quite liked the ending though. The Ribbon mic is a wonderful thing.. can get such a lovely balance between vocals and guitar.. I played loose with my thumb to dampen the 12 string down some as it can ring out and drown Shuie.. which would have been a shame.
