NYC has them governed? Never knew. HEere in puerto rico, the Novas aren't, neither were the old 1988-95 Flxible buses 870 models, nor the orion V,VI,VII's. But i prefer the old Flxibles and RTS over Orion any time. NIce video though

These busses 9413 run in Brooklyn on the B's 1,36,3,6,64,74. Is that true? They are running them at the Ulmer Park Bus Depot in Brooklyn now!

Staten Island's buses are governed higher than all the other boros @ 55mph.

Not that one. IT was governed at 40 mph at FB and its still 40 mph at UP

Nah man.........9413 was a 40 since it was brand new. The governor never was taken off unless SI took it off and now UP started governing their buses so now its back at 40

9413 ""was"" a 40 when it was brand new. When any local bus goes to Staten Island, it's governor is upped to 55mph. It was 55mph for when the Novas were on SI and is 55mph for the Orion Vs and Orion VIIs on SI. If they leave any bus on SI at 40mph, then every bus would be late and the scheduling would be way off.

All the Staten Island buses have a mylar covering on the windows that can be taken off when vandalized, replaced with a new covering and the windows are like new again.

Nice. Although I hate Staten Island buses so much. BTW, that is a NovaBus. Even though it has the TMC emblem next to the stairwell, it is infact a NovaBus, they were sold the rights to the RTS by TMC in 1994. They figured changing the TMC symbol was not a priority to them, so that's why on RTSs from 1994- around 1998 (I dont remember if 1999s say NovaBus on them), it says TMC. Any RTS-06 from 8750 and up (including 4900s and 5000s) are NovaBus, and under are TMC.

The only thing I hate about the RTS is the fact that the very back doesn't have good windows that you can see through, if there even is those triangle windows there.

Lol I mean a window that you can record through while being at the very back of the RTS. Also I think this is a NovaBUS RTS. TMC is the ones that sound similar to the 100 series Orion Vs and more hardcore than the Novas.

mm nope, When I went on the bus, It had the TMC emblem near the steps. Plus Yukon only has TMC buses, not Novas
