He is "gonna" be a legend? Hansbrough is great now but doubtful he's as good in the pros (yes I am aware of the same criticism for Duke players, but it still doesn't mean I'm wrong in this case).
You guys are freaking ridiculous. Kareem, Jordan and Bird and legends. Yes, he's a big deal to Chapel Hill fans, but don't act like everyone else worships him the same.

are you crazy Hansbrough is a legend he is 6th in scoring at Unc and he is only a junior he would of won player of the year but durant was here

Being player of the year doesn't make you a "legend." Duke has had a few the last decade, but I wouldn't necessarily say they were legends. I guess you use that term pretty loosely.

Duke haven't had a few players in the last decade though who are #3 in school history in scoring, #1 in free throws, #1 in rebounds, etc and all in the same player. Hansbrough IS a legend. He is only the 8th player to have his jersey retired at Carolina. And guess what - Carolina has had another 10 or 15 guys who would have had their jerseys retired if they player at Duke.
In his next game Hansbrough will pass Laettner for all time lead on free throws made in ACC.
