start off on something easier! thats probably the best thing. if you're totally into Jarzombek, try a particular riff in Sleep Deprivation by Blotted Science. it comes around 0:13 in the background. Thats a great string skipping/ alt picking exercise. you're jumping into the hyper advanced category too soon bro!

I think there is too much treble on your distortion, and that makes is sound a bit ugly even though its well played. Maybe adding a bit or reverb would help, idk.

Actually the reverb will make it worse u wont hear the mistakes and u might not have the right accuracy so its best not to put in more reverb yes it would be a bit difficult to play w/o the reverb but u get better on playing guitar that way. ^_^ it is the tremble on the distortion make the gain sound way off cheers glad to share advice!

Nice to find at last on YouTube someone that plays (or at least try to play I've got the runs). Good attempt.

The thing that is stopping your progress in this piece is your right hand. Most of the time you are picking the wrong way. Take it slow and pay lots of attention to your right hand and find the right way. Then boosting away would be not much of a problem.

P.S. If you got the time check out my attempt on I've got the runs really bad. Not the original speed yet but still...
