  • 240p we meet again.

  • how far how long can this boat motor go . how much does the set up cost. what about the batteries where are they what kind are they. is there proper ventolation for them . are your feet near them .

  • Nice harbour... i think thats a great idea

  • that kayak be trollin' lol

  • @pivotboy63 lol

  • Great Job !! The little thing is Quick and quiet, Might try filling the rear end with styrofoam to compensate for the battery wieght

  • @hardtimesx2

Stuffing the rear end with Styrofoam will do absolutly nothing.

The kayak is as boyant as it is going to be.

The only benifit of having foam in the ends is when it is full of water,

as in the event of a capsize. The same as when using air bladders

in white water, it fills the space, that is all.

  • at least you have some sense ivev seen some vidieos wherev people have rear mounted the motor how you supposed to steer, when you presumeabily cut through the kayak how did you seal it back up

  • is that blue ridge marina

  • I live in Dallas and just found out you have to register and tag any kind of boat/floating vehicle that has any kind of motor, they said even if it's a innertube with a trolling motor. Just isn't any cheap fun anymore :)

  • I totally did not register this beast... I'm not going to give the state a dime of my money. I consider this an eco-friendly way of water travel. No Pollution, battery is re-chargeable, and I'm not distrubing natural plant-life. Either way, I switched back to paddling. It's a good workout, and I don't have to worry about tipping over. The next big thing I'll do is to add pontoon runners on the side of my 18' two-seater so I can stand up while fishing......

  • @ALPHASIG755

Trolling Motors = Ruined Jessi Slaughter's life :|

  • big brother wants to keep a close eye on you and take some money in doing so. Arseholes!!

  • @tracym427 Don't feel alone, It's now required in Arkansas. It used to be anything over 9.9 hp. Now , Like you said, even a innertube with a trolling motor, the only way to be on the water without a registration is with a paddle !!!!(and I'll bet they're workin' on that) :-(

  • Seriously consider putting a kill switch on it. If you fall out, you will watch your kayak get smaller on the horizon. Also, without your weight in it, it will get way faster.

  • Learn where the focus is?

  • cool video great job

  • Im just wondering how many pounds of thrust does your trolling motor push out? is it under 50 pounds of thrust?

  • i would like to see that in a little wind look at the back it is almost under water

  • Haha! That's cool!

  • it isnt a kayak if you dont paddle it.

  • Did yo disassemble the shaft to stick it through the boat? I put one on mine and had to use a transom. I would put it through the boat if I knew it wouldn't screw up the motor.

  • That is one of the best replies to a jackass I've seen in a long time!

  • I would be worried about the weight of that battery sinking the boat though.

  • lol you're cruisin!

  • good stuff, now i have a plan...., thanks.

  • Interesting DIY project. Look like it is going fast enough. How many pounds is the motor rated.

  • Thanks! It goes fast enough for me, I use it to take me to the farthest fishing holes on the lake. The motor is only rated at 50lb. thrusts, but I was thinkin about upgrading to the 100lb. I'm thinkin that motor will be alot harder to control, but will make for a fun ride!

  • hey thats awesome! pretty quick actually. works much better than my weedwhacker boat haha. how much do you sell those for? website?

  • Hey that's cheating!

J/k...paddling is fun, but I'd love to have a small motor for my yak too!
