The trick is that what you're watching is full motion video. It was not an uncommon technique at the time to simulate 3D in that way, but it did limit interactivity.

Cool list - one thing I would suggest if you ever do an update: less intro shots, more gameplay.  SF2, for example - all we see is the intro movie and fight setup, no in-game action.

Is the music being played over Creature Shock actually from the game? If not where's it from?

I should have never bought the Creative 3DO blaster (never seemed to work properly), the Goldstar console would've been a better choice.

BTW, really enjoying the top 50, brings back memories of 3D0 fun and pain ;)

It was supposed to be an Interactive movie I guess.If they put it in shoebox, it looked like it was supposed to be 16:9 movie format. Which at the time, as I recall, was cool.

there was 1 game that stood in my mind since i was a kid i forgot what it was called but i know that at start of the game shows video where town burns down and one knight or what ever....

Monster Manor was the first FPS I played mind you, the graphics are amazing all things considered, but I didn't enjoy the game all that much!
