Ha. I do like all of her reviews on her beautypedia site. You should subscribe to MaddieRobertsShow channel. She has lots of good ideas and she doesn't think facials are worth the money. I would be scared to death to do videos but I sure enjoy watching them. You should be proud of your bravery!

It's nice watching all these beautiful young ladies that do their makeup tutorials, but really, their skin are tighter & smoother than mine & I won't get the same results. What I like is that I've been introduced to products I didn't know about. I've been using the Mary Kay TimeWise skin care sytem for 8 yrs. & it works for me so I won't change that. I so agree with you, Natalie. I saw a commercial the other day and it was on anti-aging eyeshadow! Really? I think the only thing that I know of that actually really does help my skin is Retin A and a good sunscreen.

I interviewed three different estheticians before I made a decision on who I would see. She was the most honest with products and that you didn't have to spend a fortune or use all the products form one line and what works and what doesn't. Loved this video!

I found myself buying so many products I'd seen in videos...some were hits, some were misses ! I've now learned that more is not better. With the drugstore quality on the rise and the prices of department store makeup being ridulously high, I now choose to spend my money on skincare and not makeup. Good for you, you do have to use products for your skin for weeks and weeks before you see something. I've been on Obagi for 10 months and it was at least 3 before I noticed an improvement. Paulas choice are good products too, I have several I use (on my body). One of the biggies is really washing your face morning and night, everyday. Grr, that was so hard to make myself do it even when I did not feel like it! We can't stop our skin getting old, but maybe we can slow it down a bit. hugs
It's frankly dishonest. But we continue to buy into it. I prefer to support small companies or if I am going to buy high end, as I do .. Lancome, DeCleor, it's usually for skin care and I've been doing so for years now, or L'oreal for drugstore. I admit that I have the Guerlain Gardenia illuminator compact. which I consider to be very special, but it is also a product that I will use, and not keep in my drawer just to show off. Anyway ... lol ... Women have the power and it's time we used it!

People ripping women off on eBay and other online makeup sites - yet it is US, WOMEN who can change it. It's frankly dishonest. But we continue to buy into it. I prefer to support small companies or if I am going to buy high end, as I do .. Lancome, DeCleor, it's usually for skin care and I've been doing so for years now, or L'oreal for drugstore. I admit that I have the Guerlain Gardenia illuminator compact. which I consider to be very special, but it is also a product that I will use, and not keep in my drawer just to show off. Anyway ... lol ... Women have the power and it's time we used it!

entire day and hard earned money just to have something they DO NOT NEED but want, and then it just sits in their vanity or in their 200.00 plastic containers. People ripping women off on eBay and other online makeup sites - yet it is US, WOMEN who can change it. I get very passionate about this topic as you can see:) When you've got 4 or 5 companies, essentially monopolizing the cosmetics industry, ie MAC aka Estee Lauder aka (can't recall -thanks menopause!! lol) .. you know what I mean.

Excellent topic:) I personally get annoyed with women .. because we are the market and as long as we succumb to our insecurities that are created by the media and the cosmetic industry to make us feel less than 100%, we let this happen. If we were to start letting these companies know in no uncertain terms (in writing, in our videos, and especially with our pocketbooks) that we are not going to buy into their crap! You are absolutely right Natalie they think we can be fooled but we are smart and we know nothing can stop the aging process (nothing in a jar I should say). Just taking care of one's self by eating right, excercising, and drinking plenty of water will help us age gracefully. We don't need all the junk they are trying to push on us. Also, you look awesome in your video. Sorry for going on and on I just couldn't help myself.
