Odd, Bob used to know how to say Poul's name (not Paul)--Poul (Sir Bela of Eastmarch) said it was a friend who was a medieval historian who was moving away, and they threw a party for her. (This is what Poul said to me.) The party was so much fun, it continued and evolved into the SCA. So Bob had it a bit wrong unless Poul was being modest. Which is possible.

Both the wife and I love his Myth series and also bought both of the new Dragon series. I wonder if Jody Lynn Nye will continue the Dragon series or not? Any way we will miss his great writing and humor. RIP

He passed away this year, apparently this was his only filming at a SCA event in which he was in character. He was one of the founding fathers of SCA, a great author, and all around good guy. He is truly missed.
