I have one just like this and have no complaints the knife is solid everything about it is great even sharpness right out of the box great knife for the $ right under 45 bucks not bad.
can i remove the auto spring of this knife? cause in germany its forbitten to war a knife with one hand function! if not can someone show me a good knive around or under 50€ with removeable spring or one hand funktion?! thx
I bought this knife from bladeops for $44 and it came automatic.I didnt have to modify it.Its a good knife but theres a little blade play.I use my knives a lot so thats why its a little loose. The paint on the blade is starting to wear off as well. Not bad for $44 though.Id buy a Kershaw instead if you just need a good quality knife thats not gonna loosen up.I just thought Id give this a shot.If you cant afford a benchmade auto and you really have to have an auto, this is a decent buy.
I got one of these the other day in black.. it broke as I opened it outside the store.. I went back in and got one in tan. It runs 100% so far and I've not seen one indication of it potentially going bad. I think one thing to worry about with these is the fact that they are made in Taiwan means some will be made right and others won't.
@tanathos0414 No Plus is not the model, Boker Plus is their cheaper, chinese made line of knives whereas their Boker knives are mostly made in Germany.
@MetalSparks10 It feels relatively solid, but it is on the lighter side. It doesn't feel cheap in the hand, but the full aluminum handle is light. The finish is not the best, but i don't know if that affects the feel.
@tanathos0414 Custom Tacticals is correct. Boker Plus is a division of Boker that is contracted by Boker to produce Boker designed knives at a location that uses similar materials at lower cost. Another division is Magnum. The high end Boker knives are all made in Solingen, Germany.

@gullette777 Good work, you caught it. They are the same knife, my friend. They just have different names, appearance, and manufacturers. Other than that, they are identical.

Serrated is the way to go, it's like two knives in one
Coalcracker79 1 year ago
@Coalcracker79 Plain edge is better, serrations take up the most useful part of the blade.
IEatGuns 1 year ago
would you rather have this knife in a plain edge or serrated? for all around use.?

could be a " 2nd generation"
buck and strider came out with the same knife model.
your sarcasm was sub-standard at best, maybe you should go back to talking back to your parents that you probably still live with.

however it could have been a " 2nd generation"
buck and strider came out with the same knife model.

My apologies, I didn't feel that your stupidity was enough to merit more than a quick, "sub-standard," sarcastic remark. I'll try harder next time. ;)
P.S. Not only do I live with my parents, I'm writing this comment from inside my mother's womb.
