Companies aren't the problem. It's what is expected from a job that has become overbearing. Whether it be regulations, mandates or affirmative action. Getting a job has WAY too much fine print.
well first of all corporation needs to be brought back to the US along with the strength of willingness to make our country strong again. i do believe my peers in my generation are smart and talented but they do not know how to communicate or put hard work into something.
For one thing we need to quit slaughtering our own people, I mean it is getting a bit old. Keep those at bay that pose any competition for power, give our enemies money to keep them happy, steal everyone and make them your property, do worthless jobs and get paid tons of money; these are just a few things
Oh and the solution to get the country booming. Ready here it is: Lets start using our own oil. We have plenty. Lets get that pipeline from canada through the US. That alone would create a ton of jobs and reduce the price of gas.
@CannedKoolaid I agree. If those latinos are legal, it's noone's fault that they are screwing up but theirs. You can't make lazy people do things, no matter what color or race.
some of them had some good points but as for being wise? hell no those are just succesful people who played the system and won i mean they all are intellegent but they only present problems not solutions!
great converstion, but they need to get rid of the young kid, the latino dude, and the black lady, they had jack shit to say except for the thing one of the first guys talked about, "the welfare of ever person as a practical objective", thats what those three are trying to do, and its a losing proposition, there have to be winners and losers, and if the losers happen to be people who are not up to making the sacficices needed to succeed, then so be it, thats how you fix the economy
I think CBS has confused Wisdom with knowledge and being successful in their spheres of influence. Some of the smartest and most influential people in this world are tno most unwise also. Look at Donald Trump or many of our elected officials. But CBS is just trying to get people to watch. That little piece was not about curing the economy as much as it was about helping CBS get viewers. I think it back fired however.
Impressive but they are saying nice pretty words but the meaning is a Feel Good I have a nieghbor children who is 6 yrs old who demands a black berry phone and a car at the end of the school year First grade ?
Yet they still manage to avoid talking about mismanagement of governance and economy in Bush era which clearly brought down the system. What brightest minds are they.
I can't believe CBS thinks these people have any solutions, they don't. These are the people who created the problem. CBS if you want anwsers to these problems then you have to realize #1 the system we have now is failed, tweaking it will do nothing. #2 the solutions is in creating a new system, a new economy a Resource based economy. Just as we evolved from Feudalism to Capitalism we have to evolve into a new system or we will perish.
Bring back the MILLIONS of manufacturing jobs that have been shipped out of the country. A large percentage of the unemployed in this country do not have the qualifications necessary to get a white-collar job. We need to start making things in this country again. "Made in the USA" <<< When was the last time you saw those words on a product?
Wise Americans??? Michelle Rhee is a fraud, now under investigation for budgetary malfeasance and misuse of public resources in her role as head of DCSchools, and has masked numerous allegations of child sexual abuse made against now husband Kevin Johnson in Sacramento.... She is a DISGRACE to this nation and should be in PRISON, not given a platform like this...

Has any one of these people said anything new? Or that hasn't been said before? Yeah we already know the crap that is spewing from their pieholes.
These people don't know anymore then we do what to do.
Most of our problems now are of a technical nature, ie Fukishima, does any of these have a clue what to do about Fukishima? They don't have a clue,
Peak Oil? Unemployment by automation? Peak Water? Climate Change?
CBS you are wasting your time asking these people for solutions. THEY ARE CLUELESS

@Dorisequador More Donald Trump's is exaclty what we do NOT need anymore. What we need is more Jaque Fresco's and Peter Joseph's.
