Colorado should have gone to the Mountain West instead of the Pac-12. They havent won a road game since 2007. Fresno and Boise would beat them up year after year. I am an alumni of CU and I bleed black and gold. I know that rivalries get some people fired up like Buffsfan. I apologize for fans like that. My last year was the year we played Nebraska at Folsom in 2005. What didn't hurt was the 30-3 whooping we suffered, but the fact that our some of our fans boo'd our own team and threw trash onto the field in disgust.
Our fans are a disgrace. They no nothing about college football. Proof of that was rushing the field against West Virginia, #21 at the time. Yes 21, not 1,2,3,4 or even # 10. #21. Pathetic. Great video! I was there for so many of the games where these highlights were made. I'm proud to be a Buff and equally proud to have a man like Hawkins, who epitomizes honesty and integrity, now running the show. It's the best of both worlds, Buff fans, because Hawk is also one of the finest recruiters in the nation. What's even better is that he has an eye for the intangibles that make for not only great players, but great leaders as well. Here's to hoping Hawk makes his career as leader of CU.

Hawkins sure has done a great job with recruiting, no doubt. And, IMHO, although getting out-of-state studs is very important, what is even more important for Colorado to keep staying good is to do very well recruiting in-state players almost every year. Although Colorado doesn't produce as many players as California, Pennsylvania, Texas, Ohio, and Florida, Colorado High School Football is somewhat underrated. Who agrees?

Darrell Scott is the name of the running back. Right now, he has not committed, and it is very close between Texas and Colorado. I hope he comes. He could be the guy that leads Colorado back to the elite! And, Colorado hasn't been there since the mid-90's. And, by the way, Nebraska has too much tradition to be down for much longer.

Well folks! The Buffs finished 6-7 and went to a bowl in 2007. And, there are definitely signs that Hawkins is going to do great things. I think the Buffs might very well win 8 or more games in 2008. Why? Because it will be his third season. Not only will his system be even more in place, but it will be the first season where a handful of the great players that he recruited for his system will be starters and regular players. Who agrees?

I am an alumni of CU and I bleed black and gold. I know that rivalries get some people fired up like Buffsfan. I apologize for fans like that. My last year was the year we played Nebraska at Folsom in 2005. What didn't hurt was the 30-3 whooping we suffered, but the fact that our some of our fans boo'd our own team and threw trash onto the field in disgust.

Our fans are a disgrace. They no nothing about college football. Proof of that was rushing the field against West Virginia, #21 at the time. Yes 21, not 1,2,3,4 or even # 10. #21. Pathetic. Also, throwing those t-shirts at the Texas game, low class. I wish our school would crack down on the standards of the kids they are letting in, specifically the alcoholic dumbasses.

wow you are one buffs fan that i really respect. im pretty disappointed in some husker fans too, i wish this rivalry wouldnt be about hating each other and talking trash. both husker and buff fans need to shape up. i would respect CU a lot more if it werent for a heck of a lot of trash talking, and ive seen a lot of husker fans stoop to their level and do the same thing, its absolutely ridiculous.

I have to agree with you, I have more husker fans than buffs fans considering I live in Houston. Rivalries are meant to be fun, to add spice to the game and have friendly trash talking, I don't think anyone takes enjoyment out of seeing a rival become irrelevant and destroy the meaning of what their rivalry once was.

That's not a true buffs fan. Some people just like to go to the games to get drunk with their friends and be obnoxious. They have no interest in football or pride in the game. There will always be fairweather fans at CU. Nebraska has a rich heritage and I feel bad that they're going through a prolonged slump. Their fans are cool though.

Im a CU grad, my dad is a CU grad (masters) and a NU grad (bacehlors's). I have followed both programs for a long time. Overall, NU has way classier fans than us Buff fans. I bleed black and gold so it pains me to say that. It does not matter if it is NU, MIzzou, KU, whoever, how Buff fans act reflects on our school! I'm tired of the scandals and 'RAIDER-ESQUE" reputation. Let's start a new trend so we are prepared when we win another Nat'l Championship: classy, educated fans!

Great video! I was there for so many of the games where these highlights were made. I'm proud to be a Buff and equally proud to have a man like Hawkins, who epitomizes honesty and integrity, now running the show. It's the best of both worlds, Buff fans, because Hawk is also one of the finest recruiters in the nation. What's even better is that he has an eye for the intangibles that make for not only great players, but great leaders as well. Here's to hoping Hawk makes his career as leader of CU.

Hawkins sure has done a great job with recruiting, no doubt. And, IMHO, although getting out-of-state studs is very important, what is even more important for Colorado to keep staying good is to do very well recruiting in-state players almost every year. Although Colorado doesn't produce as many players as California, Pennsylvania, Texas, Ohio, and Florida, Colorado High School Football is somewhat underrated. Who agrees?

Darrell Scott is the name of the running back. Right now, he has not committed, and it is very close between Texas and Colorado. I hope he comes. He could be the guy that leads Colorado back to the elite! And, Colorado hasn't been there since the mid-90's. And, by the way, Nebraska has too much tradition to be down for much longer.

Well folks! The Buffs finished 6-7 and went to a bowl in 2007. And, there are definitely signs that Hawkins is going to do great things. I think the Buffs might very well win 8 or more games in 2008. Why? Because it will be his third season. Not only will his system be even more in place, but it will be the first season where a handful of the great players that he recruited for his system will be starters and regular players. Who agrees?
