I think it has more to do with the helmets because of their hans safety devices and people who drive consumer cars wouldn't be wearing a helmet while they were driving. Also the track is set up to stop the car and prevent the driver getting seriously hurt from a crash.

there are many rollover crash videos with 911 like this. Does the the rear-engine configuration make it more prone to roll-over when it crashes than, say FWD or mid-engine? Has to do with the reverse-pendulum effect cuz the mass is at the rear of the rear axle, it wants to tip over and go end-over-end when it goes airborne? In any case, I wouldn't want to race this config cuz its scary having the mass of the engine behind you than in front of you. FR or FF would be safer

Glad the guy was OK thanks to modern safety, but the most violent accident at Imola in years, on the anniversary of Senna's death....a stupid man would call a priest.

I think it has more to do with the helmets because of their hans safety devices and people who drive consumer cars wouldn't be wearing a helmet while they were driving. Also the track is set up to stop the car and prevent the driver getting seriously hurt from a crash.
