i know right?! i remember when i first watched the credits to that video, and i was spellbound. this song put to the skateboarding is just the essence of nostalgia. hanging out with the boys and skating all day in the summer. this song just sums all that up in to one masterpiece.

Languid and beautiful, truly great work. Sometimes a remix picks up on the best of a song and just lets those elements come through, the original is such great a concept piece, but this mix breathes freely and settles over the landscape. sublime.

Don't get me wrong, I didn't get offended or anything. Even I have a tendency to expect that people with a cool taste are male, and when they turn out to be female, I'm positively surprised and find them especially cool, which is probably not how it should go. Makes me wonder why even other women have such low expectations of women's musical tastes.
