@videogamerevie81 If you're really strapped for cash then the $999 11" with 64 GB of storage and 2 GB of RAM would be your only option if you can't break the $1000 mark. There is a $100 difference ($1199 for 11" and $1299 for 13") between the models that have the 128 GB SSD and 4 GB of RAM. I personally went for the 13" screen due to the bigger screen and bigger battery. Plus it was the only way to get 256 GB of internal flash storage.
I give u - a 10 out of 10 for this video. You have a "natural knack" for making these rml695. (a "Gift" if u will) ;) ... I dunno what everyone thinks? I don't call u "tech-no guru-son" for nothing. Great job in this vid? Please keep-em coming! lol ;-)
Ok, .. I told u that i had listened to this particular vid (last night) but wanted to listen to it again. Just did so ... yes i have many questions about Both Lion n this Mac. (But instead of taking up space here? i will speak to u in the "Usual" manner. lol
I Do have a request? But this too i will cover with u "privately" ;) This is another really educational, informative n entertaining video. (just like all the others that u have done in the past.) t b c ... :P
Why are you turning away the camera? You don't want us to see your password that is on your computer in your house? Do you think we're coming to your country, breaking in your house and enter your password now?
Oh yeah, that's one of the other things I don't like about Lion, why doesn't Zoom work properly in Launchpad and Mission Control and in Time Machine as well? It's really silly to be honest because I use Zoom all the time because I need it.
@rml695 True, and you're right it doesn't work in Spaces. What do you think of the new Nuance RealSpeak voices if you've downloaded them and used them? I really like them a lot.
@Lachlant1984 Well I don't know about the Mac but I know on the iPhone Daniel sounds...muffled or cramped. The other issue I had was i couldn't turn off the compact voice when I switched to him...what's he like on Lion?
@rml695 On Lion the Compact version of Daniel it's too bad, it's no better or worse to me than on the Victor Reader Stream. Karen Compact on the Mac is so so so so so terrible, I mean TERRIBLE, it's nothing like the iOS version, so is Lee, don't use the Compact versions of those voices, download the full versions if you can, they're very good in my opinion, I like them.
What do you think of Lion as opposed to Snow Leopard? Personally I wouldn't go back to Snow Leopard, but there are some things I preferred about Snow Leopard that I don't like as much about Lion. For example one issue I have is that Zoom's keyboard cursor tracking doesn't work when typing text in Safari, I also don't understand why Apple took Front Row away, I hope it comes back and I hope Apple fixes Zoom and improves it.
@Lachlant1984 I love Lion and I've never used front row. The MacBook Air lacks an IR port anyway, and i doubt future Macs will have it. I never used Front Row to be honest. Regarding zoom, the only thing I hate is having to zoom out to use mission control or the launch pad. I can do it but I don't like leaning in like that. Thankfully I only do it for like a few seconds before returning to the magnified view. I also like iCloud - it's a great way to keep my calendar in check b/t my iPhone & Mac.
@zonikel I don't have an iPad, and to be honest, the Air offers many of the advantages of an iPad (light weight, flash storage, quick & easy to use), along with the additional features of a laptop (full keyboard, more ports, etc).
@rml695 Agreed, thats the point i choose laptop over ipad, ports..., pretended to use at work for notes, and school for the same, and as a burn time while im about to sleep, but, happends that i barely gave thats use, then with the ipad, doesnt matter for me the ports, theres is always mail and a desktop, i do now take notes school and work, and god damn, i have to put it away from me to sleep... because i pull it for about everyrhing. Sorry my english xD
@zonikel The only desktop I have is a 10 year old iMac that is officially obsolete if the next printer we get won't work with it. I haven't purchased a desktop in 6 years. I love my MacBooks & iBook. :)
Should I go for high end 11 or a low end 13 since I don't have much money...

@Lachlant1984 You know it never worked in Spaces either? So I honestly don't know. Thankfully for those things you could always switch on VoiceOver.
