@knocklap I could not agree more, even though I am blowing my own trumpet here. I do have the original BBC 12" LP from the series and none of the tracks evoke the same haunting feeling of remote mountainous flight as this track does. It was an obvious choice for me the first time I heard it and I would consider re-editing it at some later stage if time allowed. I have so many frames of that flight to choose from also. It was my favourite track on a CD that was presented to my wife and I in Arequipa, the day before we left for Colca canyon to see these birds. I have since misplaced it and have not been successful in tracing the original musicians. It is a haunting melody that takes me back to the true ambience of Colca canyon. condors and pumas were worshipped as gods by the inca and quecha people of peru bolivia and northern chile, and i agree theres something spiritually relaxing listening to this music and watching the condor in flying over the south american andes

We met each other here in USA and he ivitated me to visit his country. Some day I would like to do that and to see this beautifil birds - condors and eagles are my favorite. this place is the colca cannyon ,located in the district of caylloma,arequipa state,PERU,south america the land of the INCAS,is a turistic place very beautifull and also 3700 meter above sea level,and there is a little pueblo named chivay where here ara severals modern pools filled with natural hot medicinal water coming out of the mountains,i recommended to everybody to visit it.you can see the condors very close ,.
