I produced and edited this video a few years ago for International Truck and Engine. I hired my cousin Ryan Robinson to create the original music that you are hearing. This was long before Foo Fighters "Walk" was even thought of. Kinda cool he beat them to the punch.
Well, maybe they were once up a time a good truck, but believe me,as an owner of 4-2005 Internationals 4300's, I have nothing but problems with them. What I spend the last 4 years, on stupid repairs, I could have bought 2 new trucks. The dealership and International won't do nothing. Guess what my next trucks will be?? Japanese!! American quality?? It's a joke!!
@harryzweers We have two 4900 6x4. As well problems with the motor and prop shaft/drive train. We changed the motor for a Cummins 320hp and the prop shaft for the ford cargo and now have no problems. We push tippers with trailers about 50t gross.
@cdo29mike Yes Mike,I too,had many, many repairs with the motors, there is no end to it. Also so far, I had to replace two fuel tanks at over $1000.00 each, because the're rusting from the inside out. Cheap Chinese steal, so they tell me. On an other truck, I needed to replace them too,but I traded that one in for the first new Hino truck. An other truck last week, I had to replace a censor, cost was $820.00. It doesn't stop!! I haul flowers and plants!! So there is no weight involved.
Please explain where the 4200 series Internationals went. Wiki only lists 4100, 4300, 4400. Where is the 4200??? I want to find out about them before I buy a motorhome built on the 4200 chassis. Has International/Navistar/Durastar, ...WHATEVER they're calling themselves these days, still make a 4200 chassis?? Anyone?? Please???
Why no footage of any cabovers!! I own a 72 cof-4070a, the Transtar and Transtar II are THE trucks of the 70s, but no mention of them! Bummer! I still mourn the passing of the COE
Great to see the INTERNATIONAL brand still lives on!!!
Here in Australia, IH built and designed a local range of trucks for our market.
The factory now operates as IVECO, but also assembles right hand drive versions of some of the US "Class 8" INTERNATIONALs for the Australian market as a joint agreement with Navistar.

Please re-do this presentation to include the Transtar COEs as well. Also some Loadstars, Fleetstars and Cargostars and the S Series.
