In my opinion, and no disrespect intended, but I think Martika did a much better job singing "Thunder Road" than Springsteen. Of course, I heard his version later, so I'm a little prejudice since it's Kids Incorporated. :)
U haters suck! How bout props to Martika for nailing a song that most other 13 year old girls would never have the confidence, talent or chops to even come close to! Indeed, most of the young performers of this particular season (85-86) were outstanding in their own right... this was particularly the case with Martika, as most numbers featured her singing and dancing in the lead. She was an awesome young talent way ahead of the pack! I loved the rendition! Brava, Martika!! :)

Martika sings it beautifulyy!! But THey needded more cordination.. DOnt you see its soo discordinated when they sing all together?? LOL!!! Man, I LOOOOOOVED this show! My sisters and I NEVER missed an episode. We'd sit the tape recroder by the tv, I'd record the episodes, and then we'd reenact them by playing the tape and lipsyncing the dialogue and the songs. We had the best time!!
haha, what an awesome song--but I could never understand the lyrics when Bruce sings it, so I didn't realize he referenced Roy Orbison. My god, that man loves Roy Orbison.
I miss KIDS INC! Martika can take any song and sing it to perfection.....I would rather hear her then some of the original artists that did all these songs!!! Shes a DIVA!

Kids Incorporated was only an hour or about an hour and didn't hsve to sing whole songs without going way over that. It had to be edited.
