When I first saw "Bridge To Terabithia" I was expecting another "Narnia" but I found it too emotional. Too sad. More dramatic, more thematic. And less emphasis on the fantasy. My heart sank when Leslie died. :( I thought the film was too lame for me, but I think it was pretty good since there was some action, like an action sequence at 1:40.

yeah tell me about it. When I was watching it I was feeling very sad, and I still feel it whenever I think about it. You know Terabithia was my first fantasy movie that I watched, and it made me feel cry from inside. It was so.... unexpected for me. I just couldn't stop thinking about the times they had spend together, had so much fun. So sad and touching.

Its so sad, and shows you that during hardships the only thing you can do is push through it, and its still gonna hurt, but it will heal slowly. Weird, I barely cry when I watch that part. I may have tears going down my face, but I don't like burst into tears. But still that part is so sad. There's two versions of this movie. The 2007 version, and the horrible 1985 version. I saw the older one first. Then the 2007 version. And then I'm thinking, "Damn, no wonder this seems so familiar. I've seen a dif. version of it." And I knew Leslie was going to die in the 2007 version. After I saw the '07 version. Months later I found the book.

And then I read it. The book's a lot better then the movie, just sadder. I found the book on a website. And read it on there. Damn it, Leslie dies in the book, and movie. Oh well. The book was written because the Katherine Paterson's son David Paterson's friend Lisa Hill got struck and killed by lightning. That answers lots of questions. There's this cool writer's website with stories for bridge to terabithia. And some where Leslie doesn't die. I'll tell you the site if you message me.
