  • Poor countries don't need genetically modified food. That $#!+ is gonna destroy all the crops in the world. Monsanto sucks.

  • The rapid rise in human population, and hence global problems, is largely due to research and technology. Research and technology brought us a glut of cheap energy and food in the form of petroleum products. We need to apply research and technology to return and maintain the human population at or below what it was in 1880.

  • WHAT A SEXY LADY LOL!1

  • lol butt chin

  • Nice tits!

  • Global warming is debatable.

    Mike Savage is a demagog.

  • global warming is not man-made.

Let me tell ya, "The Man-Made Global Warming Hoax" video here on youtube has about 20x the amount of scienctific data that "Inconvenient Truth" has. Moreover, scientists do all the talking rather than a narc politician.

  • Notice how she emphasizes her great tits in every video. Smart woman, her brains are in her nipples.

  • light-colored tops better show off the tits' size & shape

  • hey jamie let me let u in on a little secret, global warming is a hoax that was created by al gore and the democrats, the earth goes through cooling stages and warming stages, last yr baghdad got snow for the first time and the ice is thicker down in the south pole than its ever been, but the global warming nuts dont want 2 talk about that ,hmmmm go do the math i already have, if you were smart you would listen to michael savage and his show the savage nation which is conservative and truthful

  • I'M ALL FOR green hemp correct politics and saving the world from technical analation from the Klingons et etc, but...

...it's time for some big booby girlfriend action, Tucson style!

    HUBBA-HUBBA, JAMIE

  • I spy, with my little eye, somebody that has ABSOLUTELY no foundation in engineering at ALL.

Want a simple way to improve the world that will cost practically nothing?

Take PUBLIC education books, and make them PUBLIC on the internet since they've been paid for by PUBLIC money anyhow, and let anybody read them.

Presto. Education for anybody that wants it.

I can see a few people that would benefit from THIS.

  • The flaw in your argument is that you are acting on the false premise that everybody has internet access. Sure, students at most (if not all) public schools have internet access and, according to what you are suggesting, would be able to access these books. But what about when the students have to do homework at home? Not all students (especially those from low-income neighborhoods) have internet access because they probably cannot afford either (1) a computer or (2) internet connectivity.

  • > The flaw in your argument is that you are acting on the false

    > premise that everybody has internet access.

They don't need internet access. Just one person in a town with a printer would need internet access.

80% of the US is on the net today.

  • You've fallen into a false dichotomy. The idea that we have to fund research and development at the expense of charity is fallacious. Sci & tech are an important part of helping maximize production but resources are finite. It is short sighted not to encourage responsible consumption especially in areas where resources are scarce. Your solution ignores the needs of starving people right now. How do they benefit if they aren't alive b/c you no longer fund relief efforts? Beware the panacea.

  • you mention no substantive way to "bring up the poorest sections of the world". Funneling aid money into tech. research simply redirects money from being redistributed, a cause of global inequity and poverty, from wealthy productive people and companies towards people who do not have opportunities to become "productive people".

Technology is useful for mitigating some impacts of less efficient industrialization, but environmental degradation owes itself to the same technological advances

  • i agree with u !! good point, and u look fit aswell!!

  • Public transport is NOT a source of regulation that limits economic growth. In fact, some of the most economically dominant regions in the world have renown public transport systems. Tokyo, London, New York, Paris, Berlin, to name a few. When there is a lot of traffic in a city, it is an indication that the city is an economic success. Why else would so many people want to live there? In that case, public transportation is the most successful method of balancing population density with mobility.

  • Hint: HEMP.

  • global warming is a quasi-religious doctrine of primitive left wing kooks who believe their ancestors were monkeys who swung from trees and shoved bananas up their ass. only fucking retards believe in that shit.

  • Have you heard of the Monsanto seed company? They own patents on seeds!!! They sell the farmers both the seeds that resist pesticides and the pesticides that kill all weeds and bugs. The result causes their land to become dependent on more Monsanto brand seeds and pesticides. I'm for GM, but not patents on living objects, and government departments that hardly review GM products.

  • trueuniverse2100 - you forgot to mention that by using more pesticides, we are all eating more chemicals. This also does harm to bio-diversity and the eco-system.

Also, some GM seeds are designed to be self terminating. This means seeds from the new crop won't grow and the poor farmer can't hold back part of his own crop for replanting. He has to buy fresh seeds from the GM company. It's actually a way of exploiting the farmers in poor countries.

  • "Hardly review GM products" Are you completely insane! You sound like one of those idiotic Grenpeace fools who talked Zaire into refusing GM corn. As a result thousands starved. If anything, GM foods undergo far stricter quality reviews than non-modified foods. Secondly, you do realize that you don't own your DNA, right? There is absolutely nothing stopping me from, say, taking a bloody bandage of yours and using it to create a clone of you. Well, nothing save anti-human cloning laws. Get a clue

  • Captwasabi: Your comment has nothing to do with the ethics of the Monsanto seed company. Why don't you get a clue instead of building straw man arguments out of Zaire.

  • hey Jamie did you know that every planet in the solar system is experiencing 'global warming' and that temperatures have actually cooled since 1998?

  • More videos from you please!

    Jacqueline

  • You're very practical concerning the relevance and application of science and technology in sustaining our standard of living, and whatnot. How does a person like you jump so quickly to "Ron Paul's proposed doing away with the Education Department is a good idea?"???

Anyway, I just discovered your video blog thing technological future gadget thing here...so I may be behind on whatever you're talking about.

Send me some sort of update when you can.

    Username: Khalucifer

  • I never said Ron Paul's idea of closing most government agencies was a smart idea. Actually, I was posing a question to him on how it would even be possible to implement. Not only is it a bad idea, but it just couldn't happen. I'm all for downsizing gov't, but Dr. Paul takes it to an extreme that is completely impractical and impossible.

  • we are now in an extreme downward spiral, His "impractical or impossible" ideas wouldnt hurt in the least...

RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT ALL THE WAY!!

  • How are Ron Paul's ideas impossible? You think that way, because you've never thought outside the box... You're closed minded. All those agencies would become business models and while they may not become any better short term, they wouldn't become any worse than government run.

  • You are very smart & pretty.

  • They don't work because it takes more energy to separate the hydrogen from the oxygen in the water than the amount of energy you get out of it. It sounds great getting energy from water, but it's actually an enormously inefficient process.

  • Is there another way to pronounce simultaneously?

  • I believe Ive heard the brittish pronounce it "sih mul", versus our "SIE mul"

  • Why would you say that? I'm an atheist. I hardly doubt that that would matter.

  • but then there is no such thing as fact because facts can only be measured with perception, and everyone's perception is different. One mile for me to run is different than a mile for you. Even my brain state determines how many calories i will burn. But that's not a fact...just my perception fool.

  • hey madmaxsdp.......you suck, did you watch any lion king movies lately?? you over educated idiot!! ha ha

  • Pollution...Nikola tesla, eh? and free energy. Cold fusion and magnet engines that outlive their owners. as for the genetic modification of food, please stay away from my broccoli. That is my opinion, nothing more

  • hey you over educated idiot....did you wipe your ass with all your diplomas.....that's all they are good for!!!!! ha ha

  • Why are you being so offensive?

  • (cont'd)...creating these huge organizations, establishing ideas, using money to produce these ideas often pushes the focus in the closet. FEEDING and HELPING people in need. Yes, it is good to have a set plan and establishing ideas but there are still 45,000 lives who DIE of starvation A DAY. i would knock someones idea down the drain but maybe while your ideas become more established, just FEED the PEOPLE.

  • interesting thoughts, i'm not going to comment on your beuty (alittle unnecessary) but continuing my thought...good ideas but i feel that ideas like yours involve alot of foundation. I too had ideas similar to yours but after seeing a starving child in person, i go for the simple methods FIRST...just FEED THEM.

  • I'm afraid your ideas won't work. They are based on logic, common sense, and proven techniques; like using science to solve problems. The doomsayers just want to hear empty platitudes like; "vote for change", or, "no blood for oil", or, "man-made global warming". Forget about the sun, it has nothing to do with the temperature of the earth.

  • Wonderful comment, thank you!

  • famine is caused by climate change, because of (zone layer cfc's) pollution/industry/cars

how dose computers help poor homeless hungry people. why do they need "stuff"

I assure you, they need some consideration, respect i.e dominating countries that hog the worlds resources should either distribute it evenly or stop polluting our planet into a chaotic dooms day.

IGNORANCE is their destroyer. No technology that can fix that.

I'd would only expect a video like this from an American.

  • you're soo pretty!!

    kisses!

  • sounds good, but your answer "research and technology" is a little too general. my answer is yes "education", but from a more specific perspective. ancient civilizations did not need to bio-engineer. more people back then grew plants...from the elite to the poor...mother nature does not hate, only us creatures, who control one another...free yourself and your neighbors...overflow with growth for yourself and your plants...be true...ezo out...answer=grow all plants...to good to be true huh!!!

  • vaya par

  • Does anyone else feel like listening to 'Dark Side of the Moon' at the moment? Just curious...

  • ha ha ha :)

  • hmmm yes i agree...ur very pretty.

  • I really like your idea, but this world is in such a state of... well, crap that not all ideas such as this will work. I reccomend reading about the Greening of Java and how the research and technology introduced there hurt many of their poor. Still a great start, and you are a good person for just bringing this problem to the attention of them.

  • Well, Ms. Bernstein I think you have got a good head on your shoulders

  • short sighted 'positivist' opinions so bloody antequated, thinking it's US/Western scientists who can comment on the rest of the world as if they can fix the worlds problems! Western Science causes more heinous inequalities you fool, and cancelling out response to gloabl warming, what utter bigoted brianwashing. this indoctrinated science nut has all the symptoms: a self righteous confidence that revels in 'positivist' spiel, big claims unsubstantiated by facts, with an itinerant sugar rush face

  • Thanks for this, it's refreshing. I'm used to YouTube featuring mindless drek all the time, but I'm damn tired of it featuring milquetoast disinformation.

  • for some reason the reply button is not working. My response is meant for Macabre2007.

  • There's a larger point to your argument. A scientific and modern view of the world also diminishes the dangerous superstition and triablism of religion. And, ala, Karl Popper goes hand in hand with democracy,

  • Goddam . is this Chelsea . do us a favor and shut up . ur not buying my vote . hahaha

  • uh, no, Arizona, duh. Not New York...

  • I like her Floyd shirt.

  • i agree

  • PART 2:

Who believes thats gonna go well! Lets just perform the experiment on another group of people, for instance ones like yourself. Than yo could really describe your findings from first hand experiance. Hows that?

    Marit

  • PART 1

Stop financing foodsupply to Afrika? And start funding research into scientific projects such as exploring the possibility to produce more grain out of the same field? Excuse me, but what do you plan to do for the people who starve because of bad harvest, war or another crisis? "Sorry guys, we're just gonna put you on hold for a bit..But we're looking into lots of new fascinating opportunities"

  • Nearly every comment is about your breasts. I think we've found the problem. Men are far too interested in women's curves to devote energy to trifling causes such as world hunger. lol

  • what a dumb robot

  • yeah make them eat gmo like that they'll die from brain cancer. Scientists will all kill us anyway.

  • GMO's are not the answer because they could harm us...

  • gosh, sound like she has it all figured out. starving kids in africa agree with you, stop sending food to them . Nothing worse than a babbling idiot who thinks they got it all figured out.

  • The WEF is a sham!

  • We need more intelligent girls like her. She will do good for mankind.

  • Hey she lives near where the Super Bowl will be played!

  • You look smarter if you just stf up.

  • She reads well.

  • I like Pink Floyd.

  • like oh my gawd, can you get those researchers to decipher/implement all the bullshit you just said?

how about if we just defy the laws of physics as we know them on earth today? we'll all just start shitting solid gold logs and flawless diamonds and have an emmission-free, 700 hp car that runs on "global love," or maybe some bottled water.

    L M F A O ! ! !

  • doh.

where's the sense in researching genetic engineering if the africans will all be dead by the time you get to use the technology because of the cut you made to their food donation?

  • Ronteller, if you're out there, i hope you've posted a video response!

if you somehow read this, please message me

  • haha you can tell shes reading a script.

  • Razela: it's nice to see people worried about the future of the human kind, but i have to say there's no solution.

human race are a plague!! as a plague, we will destroy all the resources that the earth gives to all alive beings. and we are going to disappear after all.

50 years ago there were 2 million people on the earth, as the middle age. But now we are 7 millions. After thousands of years of history of the humans, now we have been growing up a 300% into 50 years.

  • Very Cute...but of course that isn't the issue :-) I love the the vid...good job. I do have an issue with genetically modified crops. My opinion is that the genetic modification of our food source should not be expanded any more than it has worked it's way into our lives. It becomes another rip off by companies like Monsanto (sp?) who economically exploit their products..which are subsidized by the public purse. And secondly...we don't know what effect they will have on our planet or Humans

  • Global Warming is a fraud the culprit is the Sun. Proof, Icecaps melt on Mars. Benefits made are financially beneficial to investors of R&D. World Banks are the culprits that transfer wealth from middle class to rich.

Mr. Bernstein many of your points are valid.

  • Unless of course someone argues there are SUV's on Mars...

  • mutation is nature's way of making organism adaptable to its new environment. by now, since our environment changes beyond nature's way, it's now human intervention to do the work; and its genetic engineering. corn that grows on arid sahara desert might solve food shortages in africa.

  • friendswithferries - the idea that Genetic Engineering is all about designing crops that grow in the desert is wrong. Some crops are modified so that when they produce seeds, those seeds wont grow ('self terminating'). This means poor farmers cannot keep back some of their crop for re-planting, but have to buy new seeds from the supplier each time. It's just another way to screw poor countries.

  • yeah! scientists must engineered a kind of hybrids that produces genetically sound fertile seeds. that if we really bound to help those poor african brothers. if we just aim to screw those poorest of the poor; then, its useless to think of this davos question.

  • Genetic engineering food is a big mistake. I get how, out of desperation we would want to try to feed more people but we don't know what messing with the code of our food sourse is going to do long term. It is already next to impossible to get non-GMO corn on the planet. There has to be a better way.

  • Hey Razela, I have a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson. I have to agree 100% that investment in education and research, especially physical sciences, will have the greatest return for society as a whole. Unfortunately, there is a war against science in general going on in this country which is diminishing our future. Solid science is being stymied and manipulated in the name of political and religious ideology.

  • As a fellow scientist, and someone involved in politics, I hear you. The community at large views our field with great suspicion, and holds to ransom the cause of advancing humanity.

  • Go Cats!

  • Pink floyd is no my new favorite band.

  • I think Subaru has done pretty much what you're describing. The Subaru of America plant, which serves the New England area, is completely environmentally sustainable, and the new 2008 base sedans are Partial Zero Emission Vehicles, with a .09 or lower emissions. Even their turbo vehicles are doing well, with less than a .39 emission level. And they're faster than any other conventional car that green. And the AWD system prevents accidents, and reduces tire wear.

  • i know my spelling sucks but thats not really important.

  • she should reduce her emissions

alot of waffle without saying shit

some people may not have the same view of what constitutes a 'modern world'. technology is a complementary to human development not an answer

the end result of an overdrive into science and technology is obvious - kill the people and populate the world with solar powered robots

  • your going a little overload but your right.

  • The problem with answering the Davos question is this. Everyone is giving answers from the perspective of the wealthy democratic nation that we live in. Wealthy nations can't do anything amidst Tribal War and Genocide anyway. Nations and cultures evolve and change slowly. My answer to the Davos question. LET THEM WORK IT OUT FOR THEMSELVES.

  • Wealthy nations are connected to those tribal wars and genicides, just look for causal relationships on any detail of the countries you are referring to. Look at the context in which those wars and genocides are taking place. What is to gain from the resources on those lands? Who is or will benefit politically and economically? I'm not referring to power or control, they're always intertwined, but I'm talking about greed.

  • Continued intervention leads to reliance on and expectations of further intervention. Intervention directly is not the answer, it's another problem. Intervention has to be measured, and they have to meet us part way.

  • Pure 100% excessive desire to improve one's position on the social ladder by securing and enhancing one's wealth. You see, the why and the where are linked in the sense that since these atrocities are not happening on our siol, responses like yours: "let them work it out for themsselves" surface. Well, sorry to burst your bubble, but they cannot, since they were not alone in planing, organising, plotting and executing their wishes on the mass.

  • I wasn't clear enough. When I said "Let them work it out..." I meant that we shouldn't intervene in other nations unless we are "asked to" and that's a whole other can of worms. But you're are right. Greed and Power, on both sides, really underminds the intended goodwill. It's better when people figure it out for themselves and fix their own infrastruture. In all cases, many lives are lost.

  • So, we need to step in and fix problems created by those of generations past and present of wealthy nations.

  • Razela - You say "we should be putting money into researching genetic engineering of plants"

People don't realise that some crops are genetically engineered so that when new seeds are produced, they are 'self-terminating' (ie won't grow). This means the farmer can't re-plant his own harvested seeds, but has to buy new ones each year.

This type of genetic engineering has nothing to do with helping poor farmers in Africa grow more crops, but is actually about screwing more money out of them!

  • Poor Americans.. The only thing you are worried about is your self.

Technologi is not the right way. Just look at the KFK-gasses, that maked the ozon-layer go away.

The future is organic and vegan. We need to have land that is producing the food we need. And not filling the earth up with hi-tech junk, and chemicals.

  • It was CFCs, Chlorofluorocarbons, and not KFKs. Also, there were HCFCs, Hydrochlorofluorocarbons, but criticizing them for ozone layer destruction isn't as popular.

An 'organic and vegan' future isn't likely, especially not within the next few hundred years. If nobody has a protein intake, then how are you going to get any physical labor done? There will probably be robots in the future, we're getting there already, but people still need to do actual physical work.

  • Poor girl?

  • yeah! research and technology is the answer for the burgeouning food shortages in africa; say for example develop a breed of wheat that grows on the sahara desert.

  • Pink Floyd SUCKS!!!!is music for for Mental Retarded!!!

    Joy Division Rules!!!

  • This chick isn't even my type but there's something about her that makes me want to tear her clothes off and tear that ass up!

  • Wow from theshrever

  • hi. boobs

  • Proverds 14:34

  • We've already seen some of the negative implications to GMO products, case in point is Monsanto Round-up ready seeds, which has led to over spraying and an destruction of local eco-systems near farmland.

We have enough food, its just the distribution of our resources that is not right. Monsanto continues to promote GMO as a way to solve the world hunger. Unfortunately, some of the GMO seeds produced by MONSANTO has proven not to work. Thus devastating hte livelihoods of third world farmers

  • very good!!! at last I din't hear an idea on rolling up in the fetal position. Technology and freedom are reasons we live so wonderfully and we do compared to our ancestor. We should continue to use our reason to advance us. Good thinking!!!!

  • You make a very good point. But science and technology is partially what created this situation. So I say we spend more time testing new technologies for adverse side effects, because thats why we are in this mess already.

  • I totally agree with you, also support the Ron Paul Revolution! That was a tenuous link I know.

    Google Ron Paul

  • Simple solution - get rid of the worlds dependence on fossil fuels by developing alternative fuels such as hydrogen that wont impact the environment.

  • Also, as a molecular biologist, GM products are a good step forward. Given plants are from different regions, which have different requirements, tailoring crops for the region they are planted in makes sense.

  • I agree with you. We have no need to sacrifice our output to see gains if we use inteligience and not reactionary thinking to answer the question. For instance, if we continue our research in usage of supercritical carbon dioxide, we can turn waste CO2 into methanol -potential biofuel- and even plastics and polymers. Why not start a CO2 based economy?

  • Increase production, Why? So we can drive more and produce more useless crap? Genetically modify all our food for maximum production by acre? What makes us think we can improve on nature? I bet all that food would taste as shitty as that idea! Why dont we all just grow our own food and stop buying stuff from Giant subsidised farms that export all the food around the globe for profit?

Also not all countries want to join the "modern world", Maybe we are too modern allready.

  • yeah! humans can be both human and animal. if human acts like animals taking only what he needs, this could be a better world.

  • Then African "freedom fighters" can sell the more plentiful food on those acres of land to buy more guns. That way, more kids can get involved in the fighting, and I can live vicariously through what I see in the media wthout actually feeling obligated to give to these people, because other smarter people increased the food growth on their land, which inadvertantly doesn't make me a more caring, influential person at all.

  • You speak of our potential and how we should not try to curb production when really we have little choice. In case you missed it resources are finite... we cannot continue to consume at the rate we are now forever or we will destroy the planet, especially if we try to expand our level of consumption to the rest of the world.

  • Dear Jennie:

I live in "3rd" world country, and cheaper tecnology (build by "1st" world companies that doesnt give nothing for free...), doesnt cure diseases, or solve hunger... they actually create more pressure on the poor who work getting the resources this "companies" need to build it...

think a little more about this...

  • u dont think the united states or canada could help africa on there own fuckin bill gates could fund there country but u no what they dopnt give a fuck its one less country to worry about less competition. There fucked and thats how it goes thats the real world its nice that u ppl care i do but the government could care less

  • GAH OMFG it annoys me when i see people reading off of something. KNOW what your talking about and say it from yourself, not a piece of paper...

  • no problem people sometimes just need to relize what the fuck is going on in the world. and the answer could be a good suggestion to push the world into a better era. personaly i think something that could better the world as a whole is that the whole world become united and technologized to bring education and health care to the every country and im not saying it has to happen now, but happen soon.

  • What a babe...recently an african nation (despite famine threat) rejected genetically modified grain as they deemed it a health risk so this approach would require alot of consultation..i believe maximising crop yields is already happening anyway.

  • get rid of the shirt pot smoker

  • you are ignorant and part of the world's problem.

    Think for yourself question authority.

  • The problem with science and technology is that it often advances before mankind advances, and new technological waves are distributed before we even have time to thoroughly consider their consequences. We don't need to invest in new things to change our world, we need to take backward steps, and gradually move towards simpler lifestyles. Focus on the things you "need" not the things you "want." It's our pathetic technology driven world and selfish "wants" that are the problem.

  • Why don't you take a backward step off the internet to highlight just how committed you are to the world stepping away from science and technology?

  • correct, don't believe the useful enviornmentalist idiots. The world needs more science and tech, not less.

  • Global warming is plausible and Pink Floyd is the shit.

  • I somewhat agree with tiptoegecko. I wouldn't say fuck Africa because the poverty and war in Africa is still a major problem. However, there are WATER POWERED COMBUSTION ENGINES that go 100 MILES on only 16 OZ. of gas. Why aren't we harnessing this technology? Some say greediness and forced dependence on the major oil companies. One things for sure, people need to start caring more and put money where it needs to be placed most: in the future of our planet.

  • so far this is the best response i've seen to the Davos Question....and anyways...why are we taking care of africans when they dont want our help (government). Even if their ppl are in huge crisis, our country has enough probs...its not like we ask for ther help.

  • Here is a solution: Why don't we just sotp caring about Africa and care about our own problems? Sure, Africa is suffering and all, but how is that our problem? We have a shit load of our own problems and we are making feeding Africa our top priority. Fuck them, we have starving/homeless people here that we aren't helping.

Oh and Global Warming, doesn't exist. The Earth goes through these phases and shit. So "Global Warming" can go suck big nuts.

Oh and your shirt rules. Pink Floyd<3

  • how many children and adults will die from starvation in Africa or elsewhere before research & technology provide the "solution"?

  • Is it possible that science and technology, specifically with regard to agri-business, that by expanding our resources we will continue to grow as a population exponentially increasing our hunger problem? In my very limited experience when we (humankind) increase our resources to take care of a problem (again using agriculture as an example) we often continue to grow or increase the same facet of existence that created the need for our resource increase.

  • Not true. Look at 1st world countries. Resources are more than adequate, and population growth overall has pretty much stagnated, and any real growth is only due to migration.

  • The newest idea: Lets misuse the credit, "open platforms of information" on the internet have gained. Their credits are stolen to manipulate children and citizens.

(See articles about 9/11 on wikipedia).

We don't live in the technology age any more.

We live in the (mis)information age!

    Gr.Huyskens (Physicist)

  • Pretty useless to believe blindly in science and technology. This is advanced sufficiently in most areas.

Better: Believe in Logic (as a foundation)!

Teach children before they can read, that their brain can distinguish right from wrong.

First comes logic, then ethics, as a mere result.

The US leaders try to corrupt this principle by teaching nonsense and lies - all the time and since ever.

  • wow!

she basically said everything that we already know and nothing new.

i think the solution is simple.

We just need to control our population. sterility has already gone up. so instead of producing 2 or more babies, if all couples limit themselves to 1 or none and also try to adopt, if possible, i think we have harmony with our environment right there.

  • stop giving aid 2 starving africans gr8

geneticaly engerneared plants- groovy - untill you find out 20yrs from now we have dramaticaly altered the food chain.

america is the worst country for polution but refused 2 sign the kyoto agreement to reduce carbon emissions by 5pc. George bush untill recently denied global warming existed.

  • are you reading this? or do you have prompt cards? your eyes dart around a lot, kinda shady...

  • no why not have a carbon tax and convince everyone that their own breathing is ruining the planet.

  • you have a lot of good points but wen u say we shud stop the sending money africa and use that money too fund these science n technological projects is just going too far, but keep thinking ..!

  • I agree a lot with what you say, but I believe while we are raising money for this research, we should put taxes in place that the money from them goes to that very research. For example, there should be a slight increase on energy bills, like a percentage, and that money should go to research for alternative fuel source.

  • Ha, you got it man, penalize the poor...it's in their best interest.

  • I liked what you had to say.. I read a few of the responses and man are these people sick.. you had a lot of good points. keep thinking about it.. seems you have a good grasp of the problem..stay on the path..

  • I'm a Jewish atheist, too, technically. But I think the atheists will disown me because I believe that the divine Nonentity is an appropriate object of worship. And the Jews will disown me because I don't follow any of their traditions, and because my father was a gentile. And both will disown me because I was a Christian for most of my adult life. And the Christians would disown me, even when I was one, because I supported abortion and gay marriage.

  • ...and this is another example of YouTube's threading problem. Can you guess to which comment I posted this as a reply?
