i didnt know your moms do your hair and makeup for dance comps, i thought professionals did it like the people in the face, lips ,eye and hair vids for dance comps. like and erica and the guy that did katrina's hair.
I have to do my sisters make-up today for her dance show. But instead of using the brown eyeshadow for the crease like you did, would blue look alright? She needs blue & white eyeshadow.
wonderful concepts- cheers!, anyone tried L'Oreals new product line? it is difficult to find quality makeup in Upton-West Upton yet i managed to get impressive cosmetics samples by using 'Gratis Makeup Samples', their handy.
@serah0313 Yes - Makeup for stage is very different from every day makeup. It is not blended to look natural - it is applied to make the eyes and lips show - even farther back in the audience. The skin also needs to look healthy and nice - without makeup the performer can look grey or sick under the strong stage lights.
awww kat sounds so adorable in this video :')

This is so helpful! I have two performances a year since I take ballet and I never quite knew how to apply stage makeup. So thank you fitforafeast!

Sometimes when im playing with my moms mascara i'll put it on but when i close my eyes they kinda smudge on my face
0LexiiTheGreat0 1 year ago
@0LexiiTheGreat0 You have to let the mascara dry a bit or it will smudge
fitforafeast 1 year ago
Sometimes it looks like everyone uses the same makeup and sometimes it kinda wierds me out because do they sometimes have to use the same makeup?
0LexiiTheGreat0 1 year ago
@0LexiiTheGreat0 You should always use your own makeup - especially for the eyes - otherwise it passes bacteria between people

should I use matte eyeshadow for my daughter? or a bit shimmery is just ok?
cordlieb 1 year ago
@cordlieb Shimmery is fine - but if she is in a group - everyone should usually match
