You can wield Dark Spectrobes after you beat Maja with her dark Spectrobes, but you can only wield the fossils found on Darkmos before you defeat Maja.

but after that battle you can DL Dark 'trobes, buy em, and ones from card imputs too i think

anyways Dark Spiko is on the final planet and only avaible post-gameplay
