i was talking about the 7.3 ford diesels which were the first powerstrokes and before that they were IDI turbo and non-turbo engines. the 6.0 and 6.4 are also ford engines but the 6.4 has all the emissions crap on it like the new dmaxes and cummins. i own an old 6.5 so i dont have a dmax, powerstroke, or cummins and i'm happy with my truck. so its slow, it keeps me from getting tickets.
i understand what your saying, but even with all the emissions crap. The 6.4 Ford makes 350 hp and 650 lbs tq. I think the new dmax make a bit more. The 7.3 is a better towing engine it has 7 or 8 head bolts per cylinder, the 6.0 has only 4. If you run it hot while towing a blown head gasket isn't far away. ( which includes a cab offengine removal)
hey dumb ass ive removes a head off of a6.o with out taking the cab off and not removeing the motor so shut the fuck up and study your shit before you bitch
That would have a place amongst the favorites out at the farm... I have had great luck with those trucks... Or maybe, it's just that I know how to fix them.... hmmmm??

ford had something with the 7.3 diesels both IDI and powerstroke and i'm not a ford guy. the 6.0 and 6.4 are junk.

i'll take a 6.4 over any weak ass duracrap. a dc will go fast if you spend 2x as much as any Dodge or a Ford
