@EvinG1998 People can if they have the trespassing, and murder skills. Your area is safe, but people can still commit crimes. If they do you can track it back to them from clues they leave behind. So if someone does vandalize your area you can find them, just remember criminals will probably be stronger then you.

In all honesty the forums are ruled by a bunch of indie douchebags who have taken hipster gaming to an extreme level with this "studying" crap. @Brickfilmer535 Me too, I've probably spent twice as much time on the wiki as I have playing the game. the only downside to playing a game that isn't finished, like haven, is you have to put in some extra work just to get any fun out of it. but it can be worth it. I am sad to say that I stopped playing shortly after they changed how you get learning points to the current system. I understand why they had to change it but it just made being a hermit much harder imo.

@SigSaw22 The map to this game is rediculously gigantic, infact probably bigger than any other game map ever. Nobody will be able to find him by the minimap displayed in this video, and even if they do they probably won't be willing to travel the distance. It can take weeks getting from 1 side of the map to the other, it's that big.

paul there is in a way perminant death but you can create a new charictor and inherit your other charictors things, you start at your old charictors harth fire and you have the total amount LP that you earned with your last charictor so it isnt that bad if you die as long as your hearth fire is by your stuff

@Ilamarea There are several players on HnH forums that are reliable for good information. Look for myself, TeckXKnight, and a few others. In game, help is a bit less reliable. Check the links for the IRC information and there is usually someone on that will steer you straight.

Now the server is lagging so hard, and everywhere there are random buildings that people abandoned, yesterday i've made a small camp just for me and today i was griefed and there were hearth fires everywhere. This game will be so badass if we could make our own private servers with lag-free :(

The health 100 100 100 bar is your health. The 1st one is your soft HP, that you can regenerate on your own, at the cost of quite alot of hunger, 2nd is hard HP, you can only heal that with leeches(transfers SHP to HHP), or gauzes, that heal around 10% of your total HP. The very last bar is your total HP, you cant go higher than that, but through certain skills, you can

Tho Paul, i'd suggest not settling near river, because rivers are like speedroads for people, and if they come by they will usually steal what's worth an effort of stealing. So Yeomanry prevents people stealing most things, so i suggest learning it ASAP.
