Are you calling Alex Jones a hypocrite for criticizing zeitgeist? You realize the producer of zeitgeist expropriated material produced by Jones and included it in the movie that promoted views that are contrary to Jones' without his consent or approval. I think Jones acted incredibly generously toward the guy in the circumstances.
I think they might have used a voice clip of Alex in one of them - i can't remember. My point was, as soon as The second movie came out, Alex began to criticise zeitgeist's image by calling it a cult and using the language as evidence - and now he himself is using that evidence and goes one further - begins to talk of a "soul".
My opinion on the matter is Alex found Zeitgeist as a "threat" to his status. Pretty sad when you think about it. Alex has become the Elite of the truth movement...
The facts just don't support that. I have watched most of zeitgeist and footage of Jones is used. Jones regularly promotes movies and websites by others who he considers to be fellow contributors toward liberty. I think He is after all the help He can get. You need to ask yourself if your opinions are based on some evidence, or an emotional view you hold personally. You may be being needlessly divisive.
Are you saying Jones seems jaded? When all this went down, I was amazed at how self controlled Jones was about it considering the potential the movie had to undermine years of His work. Jones is not perfect and doesn't claim to be. he regularly mentions how inadequate he feels in the position he finds himself. I dont know how much you listen to his show, but several times a week he acknowledges the views of his invited guests in deference to his own. I dont think pride is an issue here.
I listen every now and then - once a week or so i'll see what he has to say. He offers great info and i really can't imagine what the truth movement would be if he never became a part of it.

They appear to agree on what is happening, But there views on what that means, where it is going and what should be done, couldn't be further apart. Not to mention the just plain weird, off-topic mumbo jumbo Joseph included in the movie. I personally, absolutely do not agree with Josephs interpretations, or personal views included in the movie and would be upset if it were implied that I did.

Fair enough. There are things i agree with, and things i completely go against - and i think if the Venus Project was ever to take off, we would sort that out.
I think right now, Zeitgeist is probably our best bet - it's gathering Alot of support - and offers a real solution - but it has its flaws and maybe it's up to us to iron out those creases.
Just know that in a grass roots movement, things never stay the same - and it shouldn't - we are emergent creatures after all.

not sure about that. What did you get out of Zeitgeist? I'll admit before i saw addendum i really had no idea how the monetary system worked and addendum really helped me get a grasp around the idea. It also concreted my belief that our biggest problem is basically we're second on the food chain - money being first.
