I liked very much. Very Epic! I'm a musician and Visual Artist. I also am making a movie Script. Please send me anything creative. I want to help other artist become more known! XD
i don't know very much about music theory, but i love when tracks like this have really strong percussion; it emphasizes the tempo and makes you "feel" the speed of the track. really gets you pumped.
@kurvos I agree that nothing is more epic and powerful as choir in battle music but I think it's unfair to say it isn't epic. The Spanish flavor gives it a feeling that honor and pride is being faught for, the deep heavy drums give it a feeling of relentless brutality and it does a good job of introducing emotion at 1:03. The whole thing really does say 'final confrontation'. I listen to a lot of trailer music with powerful choir in it a lot and I must say sometimes this is really refreshing.
@darthkahn45 Meh. This is as "epic" as Stuart Little. Pun intended. It sort of goes up in it's grandness a bit at a few times; but it sort of stops itself halfway and just end up being mediocre, and barely worth to be called "epic" at all. Just compare this to the music and sequences from God of War 3. There is no comparison. Then again, I've never seen anything as epic as God of War 3 my entire life. But I needed a concrete example.
@kurvos Fair enough, just saying that choir isn't the line that seperates epic from not epic, a theme can have choir and still be bland and unoriginal. As much as I love it that is something that kind of music falls victim to a lot where so many of them all sound the same. I have totally gone off immediate music and epic score because of it. Two steps from hell has begun to mix it up a little though.
@darthkahn45 I honestly don't care if a track has a choir or anything like that whatsoever. But if they use it and it works in their favor, I admire it. I judge each track individually, and I do my best to not be too prejudgemental. That's why I took my time to listen to this... and get disappointed. Hell, even that animé crap-song "Justice" is more epic in my opinion than this one. Oh, and yeah; it doesn't help me much the song is attached to a picture with a girly male trying to look tough.

Pffh... greatest battle music ever? BS. Duel of Fates for the win. This one is even kinda lame and unepic.
