Thank you very much! I'm considering buying wotlk(I just started playing WoW 3 weeks ago and so far have a lv 56 Pally), but I don't know if it's really worth it... I mean, not just gameplay-wise, but life-wise as well, haha. Either way, I want something with awesome AoEs but that can make good use of 2h sowrds as well and this seems to be it. Still wondering why Frost isn't as recommended for AoEing, but oh well. Once again, thanks for the video! I'll use it if I make a DK. =D

No offence but that doesn't looklike a very good tactic. i mean seriousely your right in the middle of the group so they keep hitting you. i personally prefer mage AoE grinding.

What I like to do with my DK is simply pull them, I pull one with death grip, my ghoul pulls any melee people. Bring them all togther, drop my D&D, apply an IT and a PS so that the diseases are on them, use piestilence to spread it to everyone. Then simply use a Blood Tap if you want, or wait for cooldown which doesn't take more than 5 seconds. Blood Boil, and Scourge Strike spam them, and apply my Unholy Blight. Of course with the new patch out, Unholy Blight is no longer an AoE based move...

It's easier and faster to just mount up and and run around agroing them. Unless your trying to pull a mob far you dont need to damage it individually. Theres less of a chance you will be stunned or something too on a mount.

dude your wrong - while youll aggro them faster while on mount, you wont be able to prepare dieases on them. James' way is the best way, once your ghoul gets back to you have all disease on a target and ready to use pestilence once that mob chasing your ghoul in in range - hence faster killing.

i dont know what your talking about. Mounts are much faster and you can easily outrun mobs and run up to the one you decide to disease while keeping distance from the others. if anything agroing them like this you have much less prep time since you will be getting beat on the whole time like in this video. so instead of getting beat on by 3 and having a ghoul tank one you can prepare the main mob pretty much solo. in other words faster easier and less damage taken using a mount!

once your decided which mob to put a disease on, there will be 5 mobs beating you... on james only 3, coz the other, is from ghoul and one from death grip.

and as you can see, those mobs were not beating the dk, till he decided to stop and death grip a caster, he keeps his distance and pull through spells... okay you go on mount, you aggro one, you got dazed your pull stops right there.

AoE for DK, isnt the same like paladin or mage.

omg best dk are dwarf and gnomes (the thing that doesnt a dk have is a cleanse or sth like that and they have it as a racial) or a tauren good stun and most heals from blood are a percentage of hp.blood elfs silence with a diminishing return kinda fucks it up

You can hit blood boil twice at the start, with the diseases.

That's a bad idea. You need one blood rune for pestilence to spread the disease to all targets. That's much better than an extra blood boil.

Good guide, but you went with the sword <_< Axe is a bit better and also lets you build up your axe skill (which is good because there are both good axes and swords as you level up, so it's nice to keep both skills up to date)

Both weapons have the same DPS, min-max damage, and speed. The axe has more stamina, the sword has more strength. The axe has crit, the sword has hit.

They are about the same IMO, guess it depends on your play style and aesthetics. :-)

Will you make an unholy aoe vid for lvl80? My buddy is t7 and was grinding aoe with full blood and to test switched to unholy.. he almost doubled his speed so that he had downtimes since the mobs werent spawning fast enough ^^
