  • Thumbs up if you ever used the spinach on Bluto then knocked the coil on his head ad he was bouncing off the screen and sat in awe as he hung headless above the top of the level for the remainder of the level.

  • I love this game, can someone help me with name of the music in Level 3?

  • @faceofeuropa

This game just have three levels.

  • this is shit spectrum version was way better

  • @rocksoliddude1

Yah it's one of the worst C64 arcade ports I've seen.

The 64 can do a lot better then this I bet they probably just did a quick port from another system and did not rewrite it to take advantage of the C64's hardware.

  • @Membrane556 U cant just "copy" another game from another system..you have to rewrite everything..so this game is rewritten..and btw, I think its pretty good.

  • @BringerOfTheTruth

No but you can reuse sprite art and parts of the code if it's written in a portable language such as basic or C.

Even if you do rewrite it from scratch the programmers may not know all the tricks the new system can do.

This was not written to take full advantage of the C64's hardware it almost looks like they adopted a Vic20 game which was the predecessor to the C64.

  • @Membrane556 Depends on when it was from. Early 64 games sucked..Ive seen far worse than this one though. Sure its not up there with IK+ or ghost and goblins...

  • Why is Olive Oyl yelling "HEIP"?

  • oh man memmories. Weird how I could sit and play games like these for HOURS and HOURS, good times.

  • That brings memories back ! :-D

  • i like it

  • It's amazing when you compare these early C64 games to the ones which came out only a year or two later, programmers had by then learned how to squeeze all sorts of amazing power out of the 6502 chip. 3D graphics, smooth parallax scrolling etc.

  • I had this game on a cassette tape full of pirated stuff. Mmmmmm free games!

  • i loved this game.. because it was perfect copy of game u used to find all around clubs with coin!!! amazing 5/5

  • Damn, Brutus/Bluno looks like the walking dead in this version. Like a lost zombie.

  • For someone who only uses the punch button to grab the spinach, that wasn't bad. Is there a reason you don't like to use the punch button?

  • I think the Atari 5200 version is better. Bluto has terrible AI. It seems to have alot of slow down. I think the C64 is definately capable of a better port.

  • I played both versions and I liked this one better.

  • Where's the cans of spinnach, LOL

  • Sweet games...I remember...My first computer Commodore 64...Very nice yaers...

    Thanks for all videos derschumu..
