The statue is intact and now in a military cemetary. Russian occupants like german occupants were not welcome to the baltic states. Would russians want a wehrmacht statue in the center of moscow and that germany would import german immigrants into your country so that they would make altogether 30 percent of your population. I think you wouldn´t like those germans then going every year to celebrate their wehrmacht in your capital. Russians destroyed our monuments showing their soviet "culture".
