When I was up on my roof at night during a storm,I started hearing this.Then,I looked around my house at the mountains and the scenery.It made me ask "What can I do to this place,What more can I do?"then I started to tear up because of this song and the questions it gave me.

I remember this song. I was mining and trying to find diamonds when I encountered a lava spring. Back then, I didn't think lava naturally flowed above the 32 block layer and immediately mined around it for diamonds. Sadly, I didn't find diamonds or anything useful, but that song will forever remind me how raw and unpredictable Minecraft is.

@AgeofGuns i know what you mean about missing alpha (for me its indev) but its not that you miss alpha its that you miss when you first played minecraft. I can still remember my first ever hole in the side of a mountain by a lake.
Do you remember Minecraft when it started? When we didn't know how to make a double chest, or there was no bed, or wen we can eat meat in one mili-second? It was nice, we goed mining on dungeons, and then creepers blow up ur houses. Now we think Minecraft is the best game ever, where nothing is impossible ;)
What did Minecraft become? It went from such a great untouched, pure game. To a bunch of greifers, servers, and now NOTHING like Alpha. I miss the old Minecraft days, and the hunger bars kinda annoying. :/

@Coldfire242 yeah but everything you mentioned was about multiplayer in its alpha stage. which still is accessible. Im pretty sure notch is aware people like the older look. Hence, the reason you can play the alpha on the main page. I personally like all the changed. I liked survival before but now i love it because it has that new edge and challenge I have been looking for. Minecraft is still Minecraft. Just get the version you prefer to play.
When i got my first pet wolf in minecraft, i named him Halo after my first dog as a child. We ran fed him cookies, but then one day i was lost with him and it was sundown. Fending off skeletons and zombies, there was a Spiderjockey behind me. i didn't know but halo did, he ran in front of the aroow and saved me killed the spiderjockey, he whimpered then died... afterward, then this song started to play. it was so dark, my "shelter" was 8 dirt blocks which I had put around me in the middle of a field. The night was so long and scary. I could hear the monsters just outside, knowing that I did not stand a chance with my almost broken wooden sword.
I just stood there watching the moon slowly move, wishing that it would be day soon.

I'm walking in a cave, some bitch shoots me in the leg, I say FUCK OFF! pause the game and set it to peaceful mode, this music comes on and some lava in the background triggers some TNT I had laying around. I set the game back to regular difficulty and just sit there and watch the lava come at me.
As I was running through the cave I trip over some coal. I am bieng chased by 4 creepers. I turn around and a skeleton begins to fire. An arrow then impales my leg. I turn around and I see a man.
Me: "Thank god! A human, okay listen, you gotta help me! There are a pack of..Hey dude are you listening?"
Him: "...."
I stared into his white eyes. Then he took one good long look at me.
Him: "Turn around."
I turn around an look into a creepers face, revealing years of sadness. I then black out.
When I heard this track first in Minecraft, I didn't know I was supposed to listen that.
I am alone. At night, I stay under the tree and ready for sleeping. But I can't. As the sound is transforming into my mind. It's slow but strong. Becoming louder and louder. I see ghost and the girl. They want to murder me. I can't escape. I can see them even I close my eyes. My mind is RAPED.
Suddenly, I wake. That is the dream. The MUTE LUNATIC in my mind.
You wipe the sweat from your brow as you place the final cube on the first wall of your city. 3 squares thick of stone. You stare at it proudly. You've just made the first step towards making your own world, and nothing is going to stop you. But you suddenly notice the sun setting, and the familiar hiss of spiders and creepers. You suddenly realize you forgot to make a shed, and your last house is miles away. you quickly put together a sword, preparing for the long night ahead.
When Notch finishes minecraft I think he should put all of C418's songs into minecraft so the people, including me who liked the old music can still enjoy it while others who don't enjoy these songs can listen to some of his newer ones. Anyone Agree?
I made a house and once I was set up I made a ship wreck to put a bit of story behind my world it's basicaly: One fine day a ship was sailing at sea when it was crashed into an under water rock, the king of the ships land asumed all died, but one lived, and one still lives, surving deep in the depth of the earth in search for the resources needed.

What I love about minecraft is, you don't have a set story. You create your own story, your own reason for being in this world. You create your own escape from the reality of the real world around you and delve into the realm of minecraft. Thats why I play anyways....anyone else?

I'm fairly new to minecraft (only been playing for about 3 weeks now) and it's the sheer open ended-ness of it that's grabbed me. no missions, no cut scenes, no limits. the scope of what you can actually do in this game (that looks like it fell out of an 8-bit console into 3 dimensions) is amazing. open world environments ftw. and f*ck all creepers!! so many times those little shits have blown up my house lol

@FDL394 Because Minecraft is basically you being stuck on not an island, but a world. On Lost, as far as I can recall, you are stuck on an island with few other people and try to survive, and that's the same on Minecraft, you are stuck, you don't know where you are, you feel resentful, but you must try to survive if you want to get back. Maybe, one day, Minecraft will even have a storyline.
@saguy98 You make the story line... you are the story line... Minecraft isnt a normal game... it's a whole world, it doesn't have a normal storyline because you make one as you adventure onward or try to survive in your house which you had to make yourself

Its cold. Snow falls all around you forever in all directions. You find a side of a mountian to make shelter. The next day you set off with your pickaxe in hand searching for a home.
Finding a cave under ice sparks intrest. Exploring it finds a creeper, zombie and a lavafall. Clearing the area out of monsters finds you a new home.
I miss the purely snow world of the old minecraft before the Biome update.

I'm walking in a cave, some bitch shoots me in the leg, I say FUCK OFF! pause the game and set it to peaceful mode, this music comes on and some lava in the background triggers some TNT I had laying around. I set the game back to regular difficulty and just sit there and watch the lava come at me.

As I was running through the cave I trip over some coal. I am bieng chased by 4 creepers. I turn around and a skeleton begins to fire. An arrow then impales my leg. I turn around and I see a man.
Me: "Thank god! A human, okay listen, you gotta help me! There are a pack of..Hey dude are you listening?"
Him: "...."
I stared into his white eyes. Then he took one good long look at me.
Him: "Turn around."
I turn around an look into a creepers face, revealing years of sadness. I then black out.

When I heard this track first in Minecraft, I didn't know I was supposed to listen that.
I am alone. At night, I stay under the tree and ready for sleeping. But I can't. As the sound is transforming into my mind. It's slow but strong. Becoming louder and louder. I see ghost and the girl. They want to murder me. I can't escape. I can see them even I close my eyes. My mind is RAPED.
Suddenly, I wake. That is the dream. The MUTE LUNATIC in my mind.

You suddenly realize you forgot to make a shed, and your last house is miles away. you quickly put together a sword, preparing for the long night ahead.

I made a house and once I was set up I made a ship wreck to put a bit of story behind my world it's basicaly: One fine day a ship was sailing at sea when it was crashed into an under water rock, the king of the ships land asumed all died, but one lived, and one still lives, surving deep in the depth of the earth in search for the resources needed.

What I love about minecraft is, you don't have a set story. You create your own story, your own reason for being in this world. You create your own escape from the reality of the real world around you and delve into the realm of minecraft. Thats why I play anyways....anyone else?

I'm fairly new to minecraft (only been playing for about 3 weeks now) and it's the sheer open ended-ness of it that's grabbed me. no missions, no cut scenes, no limits. the scope of what you can actually do in this game (that looks like it fell out of an 8-bit console into 3 dimensions) is amazing. open world environments ftw. and f*ck all creepers!! so many times those little shits have blown up my house lol

@FDL394 Because Minecraft is basically you being stuck on not an island, but a world. On Lost, as far as I can recall, you are stuck on an island with few other people and try to survive, and that's the same on Minecraft, you are stuck, you don't know where you are, you feel resentful, but you must try to survive if you want to get back. Maybe, one day, Minecraft will even have a storyline.

@saguy98 You make the story line... you are the story line... Minecraft isnt a normal game... it's a whole world, it doesn't have a normal storyline because you make one as you adventure onward or try to survive in your house which you had to make yourself

@FDL394 Yeah, the uploader is wrong, the begining of the song is VERY similar to one of the songs in Lost's soundtrack. It is most often played when two people are having a sad convo. or saying goodbye ect.

Its cold. Snow falls all around you forever in all directions. You find a side of a mountian to make shelter. The next day you set off with your pickaxe in hand searching for a home.
Finding a cave under ice sparks intrest. Exploring it finds a creeper, zombie and a lavafall. Clearing the area out of monsters finds you a new home.
I miss the purely snow world of the old minecraft before the Biome update.

WOW!! This song reminds me of lost and the end of fable 3 and 2. But in good ways, quite a sad song but very well made send my regards to the makers and tell them to keep up the good work and they will continue to impress us for a long time. and if you dont know the endings of the fables find out and this song will remind you of them
