  • why does the beginning remind me of tig ol bitties

  • 8:32 "when you pull the trigger, the riflle goes off".....huh, I never knew that...

  • @sixstringfretter trust me, sometimes there are rifles so poorly made it doesn't fire.

  • @dogbone222 Really? That is a scary thought.

  • Oh, yeah-great rifle.... bet it can kill bugs-bunny in a single shot.

  • Great video i allways have been interested in firearms. Nice product!!

  • put some lubrication when your doing cutting

  • @kinstar some tips do better without oil, not sure about this 1 tho.

  • Doesn't the trigger just make poop come out?

  • Ok weird question, but does anyone know the specific name (type) of the siren/alarm heard at the very beginning?

  • @GTechno13 I'd call it a klaxon

  • @GTechno13 its the same siren as on the iphone

  • ofc he needs to say "when you pull the trigger the rifle goes off" its aimed at an american audience

  • Wut

This is the first time i've heard of Bansner rifles

  • 8:30 "When you pull the trigger, the rifle goes off."

I thought it turned on. :-p

  • The "cool stuff being made" folks should be aware that it's ok to venture out of the state of Pennsylvania.

  • 8:30 HOLY SHIT CALL THE NEWS STATION! EVERYBODY NEEDS TO KNOW!

  • at 8:30 no shit

  • 9:53 "And hunting different.....big game animals..."

I wonder what these "ANIMALS" are :)

  • @omgwtfbbq6666 shut the fuck up your not funny dipshit

  • i looks fun it really dose

  • grow up idiots, getting wet over him saying when you pull the trigger the rifle goes off, he was excited about explaining his custom guns, talking off the top of his head, you wont come close to the kind of pay he gets, hes a fitting engineer, probably makes $80-160, not including him being the president of the place

  • Go shoot yourself motherfucker

  • cutting oil?...............anybody?

  • @hibylittle8 chuck norris can... so can this guy

  • Awesome work!

  • there's TONs of smoke coming from thet lathe, maybe he needs a coolant

  • 8:30 Holy Cock of Christ i never knew that

  • 8:30 HOLY FUCK, I NEVER KNEW THAT

  • GREAT AMERICANS.

  • 8:35 "We completely re-worked this trigger, and set it up so that it takes approximately three pounds of pressure to set the rifle off."

    wow.

  • This school in my city; Portland has the equitment to do this. I saw a rifle made there one time and it is SO COOL. The presision that these guys work at is amazing.

  • Guy had that lathe dialed in, speeds and feeds ftw. Carbide makes life soo easy.

  • Is it usual for a rifle like this to have a 3 pound trigger pull?

Because all the other rifles I've seen have ounce weight pulls.

But I haven't seen many OTHER rifles.

  • @xenodude217 3 to 5 pounds is a typical hunting rifle trigger. For most practical purposes, several ounce pull-weights are usually limited benchrest and target rifles.

  • "basically"...............

  • 6.6

  • It would have been good to have seen the barrel being bored out.

But good vid all the same.

A big no no in this film is pulling swarf off with fingers, many trips to the hospital i have seen needing stitches for people who have done this.

  • i would like to see how a bolt action riffle is made so that i can also build it in our shop... we have enough power tools here that i can use

  • @angelusofcreed yeah same

  • After reading the comments i realized why factory moving to china.

damn we have so many stupid.

    nice video by the way.

  • @falcon02012 you have so many stupid?...... *sigh*

  • 8:30 no shit gun experts even my 3 year old brother knows that

  • thats so anti-gunners can learn what makes a rifle go ''off''

  • always make sure to wear knee [ads when operating heavy machinery 7:35

  • use inserts with chip breakers and you wont get the birds nest at 1:20 and on

  • Manual Machining ?? Go Get ur self a fucking CNC machine .

  • @ScoraDiTioN If you were as smart as you pose to be, you would 1) recognize the man's experience and question your thinking, and 2) notice that he is repeatedly fitting the parts in each other in the lathe which cannot be done automatically with required care.

  • @ZdenekJindra and if u are smart as you pose to be .. u wouldnt write ur stupid comment ... "he is fitting the parts ...''

man CNC is for making the parts not for fitting them together

    stupid ass

  • @ScoraDiTioN Oh, I see, you are a wannabe terrorist trying to kill me with your arrogance. Pay attention: The machinist in the video knows what he is doing. And I agree he is doing it the right way too.

I know well what CNC is for. And more importantly, what it isn't for. It isn't for precise refinements of previously made parts while also testing them out.

Now be so kind as to think about it and stop insulting me.

  • @ZdenekJindra i dunno how stupid u r when u talk about precise things ..

and how stupid u r when u talk about testing them eachtime ...

my freind in CNC he only need to check it 1 time then the machine will give him the exact same direction .. he just need to run the program of the part .. and he can make it 10 times faster than this old machinery

    BTW how old r u ?? 75 years old ??

  • @ScoraDiTioN man u think u r so smart cnc is only for mass production of a part. because a computer program must be made for each part and gun actions r unique. hence more time to make the part and then equals more money. also a CNC machine cost a lot more money to buy. but i can see math isnt your strong side

  • Pause at 8:35

  • sir what bullet goes in that rifle???

  • @DBALUGA199 idk maybe the same caliber bullets as an m24?

  • O.o

  • cool

  • i always wanted 2 c "Cool Stuff Being Made: babies"

  • @htl2142 u said babies as cool stuff?

  • @htl2142 open your mothers door when there a sock on it.

  • You people don't know what you're talking about. These rifles are hand built with maximum precision, Remington, H&K etc are facory rifles where the precision wouldn't even come close to one of these rifles.......not to mention the price tag, these rifles start at $4000.

  • "This is the trigger, uh, this actually...when you pull the trigger, the rifle goes off."

How the heck did he become President of that company? O.O

  • Very interesting.

  • wow thats a lot of precision!! NOT!! i would say that remington, heckler & koch, winchester, etc.. have high tolerances for prescision, they use computers not just their naked eye they also go back and check their work multiple times..

  • @Hoserboy55 watch the "Donny" episode of adventure time, just take a step back while i Blow your Mind!!!!!!!

  • I thought the rifle goes off when you have an orgasm for the first time... I am confused...

  • @rlzzxx Not all the ppl had a choice!

They got called inn? And for not comming thats treason

  • Very nice documentary. Don't pay attention to the negative posts. My uncle died in the war so that even ignorant retards could have an opinion. Keep up the good work.

  • worst documentary

  • OVER PRICES NOISE MAKER!

  • in the beginning the guy looks sleepy

  • he makes a nice shooting rifle he uses barrels from barrel makers like Lilja or Kreiger or douglass they come rifled to whatever specs you order and he will cut the chamber and true the action

  • Cool! No one makes rifles this way any more.

    Seriously?! WTF?!

He only shows a long tube and a standard bolt put together. What angry me the most though is that he calls it a rifle.

My grandfather's grandfather wouldn't dare to call a rifling-less rifle, rifle.

If you want to make a documentary on how a rifle is made, at least make it real.

I hope he won't put his business rep in it.

  • Well of course any modern rifle has rifling in it, so what are you on about?

  • how does the part were the bullet is injected when loading a semi automatic rifle is called?chamber?

  • How did you hold the barrel without it whipping around in the headstock. Can you also show how you bored and reamed the chamber. Thanks

  • wow this is cool. i wanna learn how to do this. i just love making things.

  • "when you pull the trigger the rifle goes off" wow really?? i never would of imagined......

  • @dude211000 i guess you could make a better rifle yourself could you? so what if somebody say a thing u already know.

  • @dude211000 copyer

  • pretty cool threading sh id leave mechanics for eng ballistics

  • Interesting. Wish they had shown the making of the barrel rifling, but i guess they only customize factory produced barrels

  • y not use a sns machine

  • CNC ^^

  • Wow, Your editing Sucks. You Made a Boring subject even less interesting.

  • i almost slept when the guy started talking lol

  • Great vid on how a gun is made. Makes guncrafting look interesting.

  • As an engineer I find this fascinating thanks.

  • 8:30 "When you pull the trigger the rifle goes off"

Wow! It's great to learn new things every day! :P

  • @Hairysteed so what? are you american? i guess so, just have to insult everybody for small things they say...

  • @Firelife3 ahaha i like the American joke, but stop trolling man.

  • @Firelife3 Of course. There is always some jackass that has to use somebodies nationality as an insult.

  • If any of you guys lands on a million dollars or two, (which by to days standards is very little) start designing you own guns, every loves guns!

  • i want to have this as my job

  • i'm in engineering school right now...for mechanical engineering....but i think i'm gonna go more into a ballistics engineering profession because guns are just BA!!!

  • I like these vids -but it would be better if they show the final product first, then it is easier to follow exactly what theyr doing and why...

  • isn't that a r700... well what ever it is, its a sexy looken gun!

  • Im a shotgun man myself, Im much more comfortable with em. I never realy liked rifles, but im considering a 308 or something.

  • A friend of mine has a dad that has like 6 rifles or so (and many other different weapons). His favorite rifle is the M40. Specifically his weapon is a M40A3. I think it uses the .308 round or 7.62mm we call it in Norway. So you should look into it. I think it's expensive though. He's an army diplomat, I think he got it cheap in russia or some shit. :P

  • It's a beautiful rifle!

  • nice rifle were can i get one my dads getting his PAL so im looking at diffrent rifles to get but great work on the rifle

  • i dont own a rifle, and i dont know if i want too, but that video was cool. I enjoyed seeing the process

  • bravo great gun

  • pwn some n00bs with that x]

  • wow, beautiful gun

    great vid, very interesting

    thanks for posting! :)

  • pretty cool bro

  • cool

  • awesome

  • ''people travelling all over the world and using it''

    sounds like an assasin

  • That is the mentality the MSM is trying to produce.

  • You should of been a geneticist, the ultimate in survival.

  • Grammar nazi says: "Should have"

  • this was awesome, thank you for posting this:)

  • i like his lathe machine its very clean!

  • This video is very informative, but how was the rifling in the barrel, made? Thanks.

  • Thanks for a very informative video. How was the rifling done? Thanks.

  • I am very interested, but this video have terrible lag.

I get no such lag on other "how its made" videos.

    What causes the bad lag?

  • i guess its jsut too cool for fast loading

  • Great Vid. Thanks for posting.
