just a tip, ive always found that if u cast a lure out, mainly a chrome slice or spoon, if u reel it in really fast they seem to get hit by the bigger fish, rather than the school sized ones u were catching there, try it out a few times next time u go tailor fishing, you may be surprised
@austrajack Like I said before, I mainly use old cut-off knife handles, if I use a lure I prefer Raiders, Always fish for tailor on the edges of wash esp. from an off shore bommie or reef. If you can fish the colour change between the deep blue and milky wash water you'll find thats where the tailor like to hunt. Have been having good success lately with hard bodied "swimming" lures.

50-60grams, just grab some old s/steel butter knives, cut off the blade and attach a treble and you'll be right.
