  • We'll be right back with the widows and the living, like what the f*** Larry?!

  • I don't know how could Larry King keep interrupting his guests and still conduct more interviews! He's so annoying!

  • Ringo: And he's still the most melodic bass in the planet.

    Larry: What does that mean?

    Ringo: It means he's melodic.

  • 4:00 - 4:30 like their sixties interviews :)

  • Larry has known these guys for 30+ years - they're all old friends - that's why the interviewing process might come off as a little rough...

  • Ringo "He's still the most melodic bass player on the planet."

    Larry "What does that mean?"

    Ringo "That means he's melodic."

    Paul and Ringo snicker.

    Awesome.

  • 'And he is still the most melodic bass player on the planet' 'whats that mean?' 'It means he's melodic' haha class ringo :D

  • Larry: "Do you still get a kick out of listening to the Beatles music?"

Ringo and Paul "Oh yeah." *nostalgic smiles*

  • "Were here with Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and a mandolin." *random jam session starts*

  • Larry is a total douche for real

  • I would really love to know what Paul was going to say at 5:32. Damn you Larry. Rude ass.

  • @Lubbylove89 Hahaha Yeah. We have an interviewer like that here in Brasil. Always cutting the guest. I know the feeling. But I also feel that the guys kidd a lot to not go profound on some subjects. So, they're not telling it all anyway.

  • @JulyN78 They're kidding a lot because they know what a joke this interviewer is lol nice to know that there's more like Larry King out there though haha

  • @Lubbylove89 Oprah should interview them... Hahaha I bet she would let them talk more (and do some interesting questions too). I do like Larry. Most of the time he is a cool interviewer... He might have been over excited about who were the guests. You don't see two music history makers everyday in your life... Even being Larry...

  • I love how Ringo is wearing runners with a suit,

    gawd, I love him. <33

  • That arrogent douche-bag! He's asking questions about the loss of two of their best freinds as if it just happens and it's no big deal! And another thing, YOU'RE TALKING TO TWO BEATLES!!! How is he so calm? I mean I know you've met a lot of celebrities but these are two of THE BEATLES!!!! Get it together man!

  • Oh cmon.. Larry sucks at interviewing here, but still don't ask him to be dead.. Even if it's a joke (which I assume), it isn't funny... But the Beatles are probably the best thing that has happened to me in my short life...

  • Dear God,

Please give John and George back in exchange for Larry and his writers. Thanks a bunch!

    Sincerely, The World.

  • my god Larry King is a douche he don't let them speak and makes stupid questions but they answer cleverly XD XDit made me laugh there's a lot of friendship there =) long live to Paul and Ringo =)

  • Larry King is not good enough to interview these guys.

  • can I say that this is the worst interviewer ever? How can you suggest that people like Paul and Ringo don't need to keep making music because of the money they have... that's so lame.. they are beatles!!

  • starky

  • Larry King is possibly the worst interviewer ever; stupid, arrogant and un-cultured...why couldn't Chapman have killed HIM...

  • larry is such a dick

  • In part 3 Paul talks about George dying and how he had known him since they were kids.

I listened to The Beatles and watched their movies and saw their tv appearances from as early as I can remember and feel like I have known them since I was a kid too, through their music, and love it and them to this day.

Love ya guys and thank you for all the joy you brought to the human race by doing what you love to do. St John and St George, look over us and bless us.

  • Paul's laugh at 4:17 is the best!

  • "It is currently rough...but I don't talk about it and that helps" I might as well purloin Paul's words and employ them to the task of speaking for myself

  • widow twankey, pisser

  • "the wife is gggggggrrreeat."

  • This reporter, though I've not heard much of him, strikes me as extremely arrogant and tactless - he interrupts them and makes it extremely apparent that all he really cares about is getting viewers.

I LOVE the Beatles and I admire Paul and Ringo all the more for bearing with Larry King and still managing, without any loss of dignity on their side, to give awesome answers and retorts to everything Larry says....

  • I love how Paul and Ringo finally take over the show kinda and just goof goof giving silly answers to dumb Larry. If John was there he woulda made some nasty comments, and George woulda made some funny comments

  • Poor, paul. Why did that prick bring up Linda?

  • Larry - You dont need to go on, i mean financialy

Ringo - Lets turn it around you dont need to go on either

Yeah Fuck you Larry, Ringo got you there everyone wants to be a nosy shit and find out how much money they got....... ITS NONE OF OUR BUSINESS PEOPLE

  • that bastard wears his pants way to high larry king is a prick

  • I love how even when they're technically talking with Larry, they're really just in their own world talking to each other. IMO, you can tell they still love each other and each other's company. They still have joys and laughs and emotions together. They couldn't give two shits about Larry. They are just using him to relieve great moments--and rightly so! Larry should have just shut it and let them ramble on together. And stop being a prick.

  • HAHAAHAHAHA, i love Pauls reaction at 4.17.....

  • He keeps bringing up George & John's death like every five minutes

  • I´m 40 years old, wasn´t born on their time,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,toooooooooo bad, I´m still single couse I´ve been in love with Paul since I was 8, I love them so much, cry every time I see them, this interview is fantastic, they still are what they were..........."funny, cleaver, natural intelligents, just love them, the 4 of them!!!! Their love song were the way they all should be, and then they went political oriented, just shows they care about the world,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,they are GODS!!!!!

  • "He's still the most melodic bass player on the planet."

    "What's that mean?"

    "It means he's melodic."

    That's right. Suck it, Larry.

  • 4:10 - 4:15 ..priceless and historic words spoken right there !

  • @LennonMeringuePie you got that right...amen

  • I thought Paul was performing "I'm Looking Through You" at the start there.

  • i love how ringo wears a suit with trainers

  • On the surface the world changes but underneath and behind the scenes it hasnt changed since the first notes were played or sang. I like the Beatles music, but to say they changed the world does not make sense to me. They did show us what is possible if you get creative with music.

  • @Sixalienasa That's their legacy. They were the first rock and roll band to re-invent themselves. Successful rock bands before the Beatles would stick with the formula that made them successful. The Beatles, because they were SO successful, called their own shots, and decided to make the music that they wanted to make, not the music that people expected them to make. That's what was new with the Beatles, that spirit of creativity and innovation, and it's a spirit that's unique to the Beatles

  • @rollo131 I think that if you examine the Beatles music you will see that formula there too. They were good, but they still had a formula. Look at their stuff since the breakup, its very run of the mill.

  • bahahaha paul's reaction at 4:17 makes this video my favorite!

  • and also when he says "can I stroke you now?"

    hahaahaha

  • Paul at 4:18 haha there so funny i love them! XD

  • lol @ paul's face when ringo says "it was melodic"

  • ringo : the widow twanky..

larry : no, in all seriousness.. i dont get emotional on this show.

    ringo: .. okay

    lmao

  • suits and tennis shoes. on anyone else... but paul and ringo can pull it off like cute little old men

  • "With friends like these, who needs life?" lol!

  • Its so funny and enjoyable to listen to Ringo be as clever as ever in interviews, just as he was the clever color in all the old Beatles interviews. And better yet to see how that gel that made them The Beatles still exist. I only wish I could have seen them play as The Beatles just once, to be part of Beatlemania-- PS i like how Beatlemania is recognized as a word by Firefox and not auto-corrected haha

  • I love how Ringo responds with "It means he's melodic." without missing a beat (no pun intended har har) and Paul just cracks up right away.

  • larry king has absolutly no personality

  • with firends like this who needs life ? aww that was cute

  • I like how paul laughs and looks at larry like, umm i didn't laugh with him lol

  • PAUL MCCARTNEY IS NOT DEAD! Recently, he has been touring all around the world-and I'm pretty sure that if he was dead, it wasn't a zombie playing those songs!

  • I've always thought that Ringo has more of John's wit than Paul does.

  • ringo was an ugly 25 year old but he is a good lookin 70 year old!!

  • thats retarded.

  • I love these guys! Ringo and Paul! :D

  • Is cute that Ringo say in 5.06 5.07

  • larry king is just a terrible interviewer lol

  • hes very clean

  • I'm amazed at how calm they are when talking about how they changed the world. How often does anybody do that? They still seem shocked by it; you'd think they'd be bored or tired of talking about it after 40 plus years, but they still seem surprised at what the Beatles accomplished. Pretty humbling. Oh yeah, and they both look friggin' great for their age.

  • why is this so awkward?

  • hah i love when paul bursts into laughter at 4:16

  • what song is that in the beginning its like a remix of two Beatles songs and where can i find it

  • it's on the love album, its just the sgt.pepper reprise

  • Bahaha

Oh my god, Larry King needs to leave.

He is was to old for all this, and I can tell Paul and Ringo are sick of him aswell.

    Bahaha

  • Omg for the first time in over 35 years Ringo and Paul participated in a song together XD

  • Haha, Paul is so cute! It's great to see the two of them together.

  • Ringo looks fuckin incredible for his age he doesnt look a day over 50. Paul looks great too

  • "He is still the most melodic bass player."-Ringo

    "What does that mean?"-LK

    "...He's melodic."-Ringo

    hahahahaha i love ringo!

  • Larry king you fucking sellout!!!

  • Larry: "Now musically neither of you need to keep on going...don't need it finacially"

    Ringo: "Yeah well reverse that"

    Larry: "What do you mean?"

Ringo: "You don't need to do it either(Paul points) this is what we do"

Gotta love Ringo and Paul sharp as ever. BTW Larry just retire to your million dollar home in florida or california or wherever you live.

Shot out to Paul and Ringo keep making great music.

  • Wow, how gorgeous is Paul here? I love seeing him with Ringo almost as much as I loved seeing him with John. You can really tell how close the two of them still are after all this time. They both look so youthful and beautiful, and if you ask me Ringo is looking better than ever.

Two class acts right there... I hope they never stop putting out music.

  • Larry King's brain has dissolved into Jell-O. Get him off TV, he insults ALL of his guests with his ignorance, senility and arrogance.

  • he keeps cutting them off lol its so annoying

  • 4:13 ! ! ! ! no comments....

  • haha the bass was really good as well. damn right it was, sir paul!

  • I was laughing oneself into fits...when my friend call me from Armenia & said..Send me last album of Paul please, I MUST have it..he plays on....BALALAIKA...! SO GREAT.!!

p.s.Memory Almost full..is THE ALBUM... full of MASTERPIECES !

  • Jesus Christ, in the beginning Paul does the Dance Tonight thing perfectly. I thought they'd autotuned his voice for that hard note at the end but I guess not because he just fucking nailed it.

  • well he's got a lifetime of practice to back him up...

  • id love to meet ringo and paul is would be a life dream fofilled to me... but im guessing that every1s dream....

  • Go Paul!

  • never realized how much of a dick Larry King is till now.

  • He's not a dick he's just old and has no idea where he is or who he's talking to. Like when he was talking to Jerry Seinfeld and thought that his show got canceled or in this interview when he addresses Ringo as George by accident. Then he hits Paul McCartney with a rolled up pile of papers and I thought "Damn, Larry's got some balls to do that to Paul McCartney. . . or he doesn't know what the fuck is happening."

  • ok then. either he just doesn't do his research before interviews or he's got Alzheimers.

  • @Ideguzman then y the fuck doesn't he retire??

  • money!

  • that...or he just has to fill in the time by asking all those questions coz he can't ask them anything that'll surprise them.

  • @ldeguzman You should see him interviewing Marlon Brando in 1995. Dick city.

  • Although the end was quite touching and Larry King really doesn't get emotional at all. And his comments were emotional and came from the soul. Legendary interview no matter what.

  • You know 'Drive my car' but you don't know 'Octopus's Garden' ??? A big Fan are you?

  • These guys are relentlessly positive. I love it.

"I don't talk about it, and that helps"

  • it means he's melodic that was the best part

  • "Wing it Larry." lol

  • Fav Part 2:16 to 2:30

  • lol the way Paul and Ringo are in this part they were acting like teenagers again. Don't see Paul chuckle like that in public unless its with Ringo lol

  • "I don't talk about it and that helps"

a.k.a. "Shut the hell up Larry."

Douche: So the drums are the key to the Beatles?

Paul:Yeah, I think so, but the bass was terrific too

Ringo:the bass was brilliant. He's still the most melodic bass player on the planet.

    Douche:what does that mean?

    Ringo:It means he's melodic

    xD

Paul and Ringo are still as awesome as ever <3

  • Larry needs to ask those questions...fuck you.

  • @LoveShiaGDSN That's my favorite part of the interview!

  • @LoveShiaGDSN

Larry's an old fogey who doesn't know how to leave well-enough alone. Honestly, though, who COULD properly interview The Beatles without sounding like an idiot, ya know? Everything is going to sound trite and stupid compared to their greatness. That's no excuse for Larry, though. It's just almost like The Beatles are such a great entity that it's almost a mistake to try and delve into the beautiful mystique of it all. Paul and Ringo always handle the stupid questions with humor :)

  • This really made me laugh... 2minutes 12 into this vid

Larry: "You don't need to do this financially"

    Ringo: "Reverse that.."

    Larry "What do you mean?"

Ringo "you don't need to do it either!"

[ringo and paul points at Larry]

Ringo "This is what WE DO!"

    Larry [jaw drops]

Paul "Tha audiences still like it so.." [paul points at ringo]

Ringo "We will do it" [both nod]

  • What's the title of the song played after "Drive my car" at the end of this video.Love pual, ringo and the beatles frim Romania.

  • Octopus's Garden

  • Thanks man.The most spectacular thing about the beatles (for me) is that they never stop suprising me.I'm very sorry that paul didn't come to romania. He was in Ucraine in 2008 (close enogh).

  • The Beatles are without a doubt the best band in the world! If aliens are coming/or have already visited us its just cause they wanna listen to a little of the Beatles ^^

  • wtf does lary say at 6:40??

no no serious, i don't get emotionel on this show??

    shup up lary!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • there will never be another band like the beatles.

  • much agreed

  • Great interview.

Paul and Ringo are like two kids having a laugh.

    Love `em !!

  • "hes still the most melodic bass player on the planet..."

    "what does tht mean?"

    "it means hes melodic"

    lololooolk

  • "the wife is great!" - ringo sounded weird when he said that

  • Paul looks like he's been through a lot of stress since the loss of Linda.

I hope Heather Mills skis, with her one skinny leg, into a tree and dies! Demon BITCH! Don't fuck with Paul!

  • Larry King - King of Interupting

  • lol thats hilarious

  • Paul is my favoriet!

  • John is my favorite, but I love them all, really.

  • They could be bitter.. A load of popular stars are mean, angry and feed up with all they have...But, these two are content to the point they can enjoy life and get over what others see as un-climb-a-ble mountains.... As the "Rundgren and Utopia" sang on "Deface The Music"....Life goes on....Life goes on!

  • The Beatles are far beyond any other musician in the planet. They know they are masters but instead of complaining or bragging about it, they just sit back and enjoy life, just like you say. Cheers!

  • i love ringo "...well reverse that you don't need to do it either" great for Ringo to show that he never sold out and for proving it right there.

  • STFU LARRY KING.

  • Yoko got no respect for us. Its disgusting to see these glasses.

    I don't care it's art or not.

  • Larry King is an asshole!

Do us all a favor and retire!!

  • wing it Larry

  • "it means its melodic" lol

  • "Yes, Chris......I've found that the more you give the more you get"

  • Chris Farley did a much better interview on SNL with Paul than Larry King ever could.

  • LOL, you know, sadly, you are SO right.

"Hey....um....do you remember when you were in the Beatles?"

"Do you remember when you said, 'and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make?'.......THAT WAS AWESOME."

  • i think anyone can give a better interview with paul than lary did. especially chirs farley. (:

  • how come whenever i see ringo in the modern times he always wear shades?

  • i know, right?

i want to see his beautiful blue eyes!

  • 5:43 - "In all seriousness, I don't get emotional and shit" - Larry

at least what i head. what the fuck XD?

  • Yea, I heard that too.

  • Stoopid Fooken Heather Milllss! garrrrr

    THE BEATLES ARE SEXXI BOIZ

  • these guys are in there mid-sixties, n' yet they still have lots of youthful zest. terrific!

  • isn't it lovely how some people don't really ever `grow up`?

  • Larry King seems to have dementia

  • 5:57- Ringo's "yah!!" hilarious, kinda lie 'whatever!'...

  • He's still the most melodic Bass player on the planet.

    What does that mean?

    I means he's melodic.

    LOL!!!

  • Yeah you can definitely tell Paul tries to avoid his feelings. People think he's a jerk when he doesn't show enough emotion, especially when it comes to the death of John and even Linda, but everybody has their own way of coping.. and I know I wouldn't feel comfortable talking about sensitive topics on camera either...

THE BEATLES <3... RIP John and George

  • PM is a very genuine person, and the LIFE has just put him out of focus.

P had to be in touch with J to create the music, but Geo was also in that circle, and R mentions how he uped the beat and Downed the beat..as needed always staying out of the way..They were the perfect band at the right time, God Bless them!!

  • I'm glad I'm not the only one who's noticed that. He's always the one who tries to put on the brave, happy face. But then again, putting up with Larry King's totally uncalled-for personal questions on live television probably didn't help.

  • Exactly.

  • Larry please retire!!!!!!!!!!

  • Damn Larry asks really stupid questions.

  • And a mandolin? Jesus..

Then he starts clapping and it makes the song sound worse.

  • lmao 4:16 was really funny

  • Larry King is so subtle. How ya doin' after the disastrous few years,Paul? Subtle.

  • After watching this, I don't think Larry King knows how to communicate with people.

I mean, in the last part, Paul was talking about his last visit to George, and Larry just cut him off. Like, these people who you are talking to went through a lo,t they're probably torn up inside. You don't just cut them off.

  • Ringo is so funny!!! Paul still rockin' the house!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • So true Ringo, Paul really IS the most melodic bass player on the planet. It's almost like his bass is singing a second melody under the actual melody. He may not be technically astonishing, but he's still my favourite bassist ever. I used to be able to write bass lines like his, now I've been overtaken by trying to be inovative and/or fast, McCartney's genius is in his simplicity!

  • Yeah, even Lennon complimented Paul on his bass playing sometime in the 70s.

    The best!

  • wow Larry really sucks

  • Here's a great Larry King line-

We'll be right back with the widows and the living Beatles. Well spoken jack-ass....I thought perhaps you would bring the bodies of the dead Beatles on stage.

    What the F@ck?

  • If this tells me anything its this-

    LARRY KING SUCKS!

And the Beatles care and cared for each other deeply. They just don't (didn't) show it often.

Which is what makes this interview so special.

    and

    LARRY KING SUCKS!

  • Thanks for the music, you seriously saved my life.

Paul is the most melodic bassist ever lived

the beatles left the best music mankind has ever heard.

  • i agree there music has got me through some really rough times

  • ringo is so badass! hes my fave

  • bring another interviewer!

  • "Can i stroke you now?" hahaah-- LOVE paulie!-- and i just think Ringo looks so cool here- incredible actually, for his age...

and 5:34 is such a bitchy interruption!! my god, Larry, i know you're also famous- but beside 2 Beatles you are smaller than a germ.

  • I totally agree with you. Larry is popular. But the beatles sold more than 500 million copies and they changed the modern music. They're legendary. Popular vs Legendary. hahaha

  • "it means he's melodic." lol

  • I loved Paul's reaction to that. LOL

  • There are a couple of glimpses and actions here and its '64 again. :) I think it's amazing how they've maintained this relationship, that they are still so comfortable with one another. It just goes to show how strong the bonds between them, all four of them, must have been.

  • hmm i know larry king is a big guy in this sort of business, but this is unfortunately the first time i see him doing his job and, shit, he's making a fool out of himself. (1:15-2:01)
