The US actually helped Iraq develop those weapons programs. The US govt knew Saddam was using chemical weapons against Iranian soldiers during the Iran-Iraq war. @mediaphotographer It's understandable that the "young people" of today and some of their views of the world might scare you, but you don't help your cause by throwing insults at people. It makes you look like the ignorant one.
You served your country when asked and fought for America, I appreciate that, my grandfather fought in the Korean War. But today we are more open to information and able to see what's going on around the world via live feeds. It's different times.

Today troops are all volunteer and joined to do that job.I hang with these young men and women daily. They Truly Are the Best and the Brightest! They know what's at stake,that why they are doing that thankless job, they hold a certain standard, that the average American cant grasp. I should know daytrader, both of my kids are proud Marine Aviators, flying combat missions as we speak! God help and Protect them,

@mediaphotographer Thanks to your family for their service in the Marines. It's a tough job, that's for sure. I think that the troops should be treated better though, don't you? Seems like our gov sends them into war based on faulty evidence, and then when they come back some can't even get good healthcare or job training. That seems wrong to me.

@tstruss912 Thank you sir, your comments were heartfelt. My Daughter is coming home on rotation. A huge relief!> We really own them at least the care when they get home. It was quite different coming home from Vietnam. The young men and woman coming home really need help.It is a different environment and the average citizen does not really understand the stress and changes they bring home with them. @mediaphotographer I'm glad to hear that your daughter is coming home. She deserves all that our government can provide, and they better provide it. When I was working with homeless I was amazed to see how many of them were veterans, it seemed like 20 percent or more. PTSD treatment should be fully covered and adequate job training provided. Unless that is happening our gov officials should get a smack in the head for each time they said: "support our troops." All the best to you and yours.

Eisenhower has a hundred or so advisors in Nam, At the end of Kennedy administration, there was a committed 16.000 US Forces from the 400 Spec. ops. advisors he sent to the region. Big difference in your lame statement. The War was elevated by Kennedy,and really took off under LBJ
