Its not the driving skill that makes 18 yrs as appropriate age, its the level of maturity and the ability to judge that makes 18 the age to LEARN driving.

If I stick to traffic rules it doesnt mean accident will not happen, i have seen many accidents. A guy overtook me in a bike (he followed the rules and was within the speed limits), suddenly a tempo banged him and left the place. there were two guys in the bike, for the driver his head rubbed the road and slided for many meters and his brain came out of his head all the road was filled with blood and brain. spot dead. we called the ambulance and sent the other one to hospital.

Normally many guys r not good in driving, so they dont know hw to train a ppl for being an expert driver. some r jealous abt the speed at which the kid is going, a 7years kid at a speed of more than 60Km/hr whereas in their 7years of drivign they would have crossed the city speed limit of 40Km/hr.
