  • Interesting how technology appeared so many times when needed. This cut just aches for longer solos, and the LP was soon to be on the scene. GREAT RECORD!

  • That's my impression as well, Don.

    Bird & Diz were right in the middle of a great conversation, while Don Byas could've had a lot more to say on a tune like this than a mere obligato behind Trummy's vocal.

    Still, I'll take it. ;)
