IMO the Alpha games were better than SF3 in almost every way. I hated the music in SF3, never cared much for most of the new characters or the new fight mechanics. Everything about it seemed...well, not right. Alpha series, on the other hand, was a hell of a lot of fun and a lot truer to what I think a Street Fighter game should be.

Umm..they'res no world tour mode on the arcade version of this they just added characters as selectable after beating it on this version on street fighter alpha 3 upper mode only.

On alpha anthology the difficulty is much harder than on the PS1 and Dreamcast versions because these ones are pretty much the Actual arcade games. and the arcade difficulty is higher

Anyway yes this is Anthology on PS2. Street Fighter Alpha3 Upper is an arcade game that was released after A3 and was had all the characters from the PS1 Saturn and DC ports.

It was realeased on the Naomi hardware (so it was probably based mostly on the Dreamcast version)

Alpha 3 Upper is in fact based on he Dreamcast version. You could even use the VMU on the arcade cabinet.
