  • Reduced Iron (Iron filings) are approved as a means of fortifying cereal. The problem is dose control. Excess Iron is toxic, it can cause heart disease, heavy metal poisoning, cancer and infection.

Many pathogens feed on Iron and grow faster in its presence.

This experiment is perfectly repeatable if the cereal is fortified with reduced Iron. Moral, if you are having an MRI don't have cornflakes for breakfast.

  • THIS IS FUCKING FAKE. WE TRIED IT IN SCHOOL AND NOTHING HAPPENED. AND TWO SCIENCE TEACHERS LAUGHED AT THIS IDEA. BECAUSE IT'S IMPOSSIBLE.

  • @indieprick no, the cereal you are using does not have enough iron

  • @Zuniis i mean it. this is not true.

  • great video, shame that the host is the typical american dummie piece if shit.

  • Are there any mature people these days. No one seemed to have anything serious to say, it is like a big joke when it really is a serious matter. Lucky me, I do not like cereal. Give me a real breakfast.

  • REDUCED IRON is in almost all non-organic foods such as: ritz crackers, quaker oatmeal, breads, pastas, cookies, chips, candy.please don't eat this crap it messes not just with your digestive system but can influence your entire bodie's elcrto magnetic feild-everyone has one.

  • @ALMITRAOCEAN Wow. There are suppose to aliens at the dulce base that use magnetic energy. It seems like they are using it on us. Stay away from every product that has iron filings. This is a silent war we need to win.

  • @clark4926 very interesting ... This confirms my suspicions about why theyre sneaking this in our foods.i asked my kid's doctor about Reduced Iron, he'd never even heard of it! Scary to think its that easy too poison the masses.3D radar imaging uses gracy metal particles to see tiny objects from across the globe. We are I.D.able with this crap in us.xray and MORE!

  • @iinfmszspiky Not at all.

  • Thumbs Up. I pooped Iron! lol

  • 8 people didn't pay the woter bill

  • Wheres your safety glasses guys!?

  • مش معقول

  • 0:42 CLICK RAPIDLY TELL ME WHAT U HEAR :p

  • Holy-Terrorist:>*=* good stuff to extract iron monoxide(FeO) and is not (Fe2O3) in magnet probably!

Melange with carbon(C) or/and aluminium(Al) and ignite it you obtain thermite reaction for have fusion iron(Fe) and etc...

dont know is magnetick of (FeO) or/and (Fe2O3)

    wikipedia and youtube technick!

i speaking french and little english

  • this dosent work

  • @vashonj1 it has to have REDUCED IRON in it! it does work

  • Youve been served

  • ahhh i get it! THAT'S why hemochromatosis is on the rise! many thanks gentelmen.

  • mick is from the nwo

  • Your bieng poisoned wake up!!!!

  • @dcbama3209 Agreed

  • stevespanglerscience

  • We tried this for our science experiment and it failed miserably. It is obvs fake because it says 2 minutes later and they could have just put some iron fillings in their. Also the iron in cereal is not magnetic because it is iron particles not pure iron like what these guys showed. We were majorly ripped of buying a bunch of cereal and not having the experiment work. I strictly dis recommend this.

  • @PunkLeona3 You are completely wrong, this experiment works. I would recommend putting the slurry in a glass, and holding a strong Neodymium magnet to the outside of the glass while you stir the slurry with a plastic spoon (that way the magnet doesn't attract your spoon.) Also, make sure the cereal you buy is high in iron. If you do it right, it will work.

  • @PunkLeona3 nope ...not a fake I've seen this many times...this is "fortified" cereal. the good bio-available plant iron is not like this ...good cereal has usable iron..this is not..like dcbama said POISON

  • @PunkLeona3 Depends on the cereal and the magnet

  • @PunkLeona3 it didn't fail, you failed to do it properly, lol.next time make sure it has "reduced iron" in it and use a very strong magnet ! DON'T EAT ANYTHING WITH REDUCED IRON IN IT AND DON'T POISON THE KIDS! My kids

  • Natural iron in plants are ion form (Ions), not shavings, because shavings cannot enter the colon wall because of their size, only ionized particles can. So it's also completely useless to do this. Then if you add Milk, the calcium will compete with the iron on entering the colon wall, leaving the shavings to remain in your colon area, damaging the delicate walls of your colon. That said, everyone has normal iron levels, only people who lose a lot of blood can benefit from extra iron.

  • @skyphor The shavings are not much bigger than a blood cell, were talking micrometers. They easily can enter your duodenum.

  • @skyphor The shavings are not much bigger than a blood cell, were talking micrometers. They easily can enter your duodenum.

  • @skyphor research Reduced Iron -silly

  • Love how he just goes 'ok then' followed by some shitty book promotion.

Never mind asking WHY this is happening to our food

  • @FetidToecheese because our body needs iron you fucking dumb piece of shit!

  • holy...

  • for how many mins for the blender and its not working ahhh

  • Ok so I never gonna eat a cornflake.

  • WoW, this is the same exact experiment I'm doing for my science fair project, my teacher is gonna be proud when I show her this video. You guy'z are ReAlLy AWESOME!

  • ivansky isnt that smart either. cereal is spelt cereal not serial -.-

  • The guy in the right is Incredibly Stupid. For Example: The other guy has to explain over Ten Times how to smash the serial before he finally gets it.

  • @Ivansky1 your not smart either cuz its spelt cereal duh a 1st grader would know that stupied

  • what acts as the reducing agent in this case; you cant just up and extract the iron from the cereal, it isn't a spontaneous reaction; is it the water? and does it happen because of the high temperature of water? by the way the guy with the glasses displaying homo tendencies (i sounded smart prior to this; just dont want to come out and say hes gay lol) is an idiot my fav quote: so the magnet just sucks the iron right out huh

im sorry but having an education maksme look down on people like him

  • Comment removed

  • can i use frosted flakes?

  • 2 jotos

  • Like You?

  • @skoumas um no! the guy on the right is actually a scientist...Ivan Seminik.. look it up..before you open your mouth

  • Hey, My Name Is Ivan Too. How come he doesn't believe the other guy then it obvious there is Iron in the Serial.

  • This is only unhealthy if you're downing cartons of cereal a day - at which point you have a worse problem than heavy metal poisoning. We're talking Fractons of Fractions of grams in each serving here. You'd probably ingest as much metallic iron eating your average vegetable.

  • ya that guy with the glasses is weird!!

he acts like he was born yesterday.

  • iron metal?

  • the guy with glasses is pissing me off

  • Yeah, he needs a lead-fortified cereal.

  • Men should try to avoid anything with iron in it cause they don't excrete it like women do. High iron levels build up causing hemochromatosis leading to heart disease and cancers. Men get plenty of iron thru meats, beans and veggies. If you give blood on a regular basis then you don't have worry.

  • I do not get it? Is this type of Iron good or bad for the body? All of anything on Earth is made from the 4 elements in differnt arrangements, Iron being one mineral....so? Whats the point of this experiment?

  • I'm sorry, you seem to have popped right out of 3rd century BC. You see, modern science has shown that there are 80 stable elements, as well as a handful of others that are unstable and go through decay (which cary in time) into new elements. Iron is one of these elements, and, ignoring isotopes (which don't have any effect outside the nucleus), two atoms of iron do not vary.

  • lol promoting a book in a cheap way.

  • lets just all learn from each other. Otherwise we compare who is better

  • i seen the first experiments in the naturalcures so call scammer kev treadeu website. It what a great physics learning

  • yeah you americans are only bigger becouse your all FAT CUNT'S

  • i have that book and my son is learning about magnets

  • yeah sure do right? those to nukes sent to japan sure did come back to bite you in the ass didnt they? really you are a typical american a moron who doesnt think before speaking, and by the way landing man on the moon is a rather idiot thing to be proud of considering the russians were first to launch objects in space were fere to launch living organisms in space that the u.s copied the russians and merely went up a bit more and put a couple men in a rocket is nothing big really

  • @vallecaucano114 the flag was waving in the moon landing video, they didn't even land like they said they did, it was filmed by stanley kubrik and scripted by VON BRAUN the nazi...

    oh this world <_<

  • @Samuelthemule mythbusters showed the moon landing in a vacuum chamber. The flag moving was from the shock of it being touched (and no air resistance to stop it)

  • @bossoholic oh really? what about the cut off point visible on all of the photos, between the background and foreground? and the shadows being different lengths which would happen with lighting being close to the source of the shadow, but not far away (i.e the sun). Don't let your desire for something to be true, get in the way of seeing what is true : )

I try not to as well, so if you really have some good evidence for them being real, i'd like to hear it, as I'd like to believe it did happen.

  • @Samuelthemule The only way we will ever truly know is

    1. seeing the recording take place "on set"

    2. actually being on the moon when all of this took place

    3. going to the moon ourselves and seeing the evidence

even though it could have been a scam, we do have the tech to easily go to an object app. 240,000 miles away from us (unmanned probes have been MUCH farther than that)

Then there are the people who say the Holocaust was fake, when there is ample video and personal evidence.

  • @bossoholic good points, glad you didn't have a fit like some do, but took it gracefully.

I suppose the logical next question is, why have we not been back up there in 36 years?

and do you have a link for me for how the flag moved in a vacuum when touched, and how it moved on the moon? cheers.

re: holocaust, it actually means burnt offering in yiddish, and the term was popularized in the 70s, odd eh? genocide is a sad fact of history, e.g armenian, russian and german genocides, whynomention?

  • @bossoholic i believe there have been horrific genocides perpetrated on people for obscure reasons, but that the case of the holocaust is perhaps a double-con, carried out by the nazis, who were in fact funded, very largely, by certain wall street interests.

some interesting facts: 4 million deaths first claimed, then 1.5mil after russians released numbers, auschwitz destroyed+rebuilt (visited it too), 6 million first claimd110yrs ago. before either of the wwars. (!)

    cheers man.

  • @Samuelthemule "Armenian, Russian and German genocides"? I wonder why they were never mentioned

Look up "mythbusters moon landing" hoax and look at the Mythbusters videos that come up (here on YT). It should be interesting

  • @bossoholic strange eh? well, of course it wasn't labelled as a genocide, but now historians think 50 to 100 million people died in gulags & pseudo-polticial-purges in russia, 30 million in armenia, and close to 3 million or so germans after the war ended, in germany (500,000 in dresden, entirely civilian city, bombed shortly before the war ended, on churchills orders).

  • @Samuelthemule Thanks Captain irrevelant!

  • @nicxtrem21 if you actually read our exchange, you would see it wasn't irrelevant, moron (greek for child).

  • @Samuelthemule If actually watched the video, you would see it is ACTUALLY irrevelant facts,Thanks captain irrevelant!

  • @vallecaucano114 you sound so fucking stupid i cant even explain it.Go do the world a favor and die.

  • @sesti21 I can't even remember typing this to be honest...

  • @vallecaucano114 in that case i apologize for bringing it up again myself. i realize now its a really old comment. anyways, i hope you meet others from the U.S. that do change your perception of us. We are a melting pot of sooooo many different views that its easy to get lost in and its scary to think what some of my own fellow countrymen think about others.

  • @bighairybear101 Its ok, I actually live in NYC, so trust me I know. BUT, that being said, the people that run this country, and the people that support these hypocrites, the people that support the plutocratic nature of our government make the decent citizens look bad, and all my hatred and all my insults go to them, not the average person.

  • @vallecaucano114 cause landing a craft safely on the moon, walking on the moon, departing safely from the moon, and returning safely to earth definitely isn't a huge technological advance that the U.S. made, no we must have stolen it from someone else. Anyway at least most of the Americans i know enjoy the rest of the world and don't insult other countries.

  • @vallecaucano114 You don't think that landing on the moon was a great achievement?

  • @3Dinvent its comments like these that make the rest of us Americans look bad. And you used America's obesity problem as an argument for how we can best others? what are we gonna do sit on them? Do yourself a favor and take some time to go traveling outside of the U.S.

  • if iron goes in cereal and cereal goes in your bady than we're all probably MEGNATIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i agree with u im looknig at this shit like wtf all this time we be putiing magnit in our body

  • Get rid of Ivan and shorten it to 30 seconds, and you have an interesting clip. Right now it's rubbish, New Scientist affiliation or not.

  • WHAT HAS SCIENCE DONE?!

  • Why the hell was the American guy even there?! Seriously....wtf?

  • Ha Ha Ha lol

  • the american is doing my head in. WE ARE NOT IDIOTS. DON'T FUCKING PATRONISE ME

  • cool experiment but god that dude is annoying.

  • that is good.

  • How does the magnet work then? What is that energy? And how is is seemingly stored indefinately?

If I stick a magnet on a metal surface - why does it stick? How is that energy stored? Where does it come from? What is electricity? Why is electricity in everything living?

What happens to that energy/electricity when we die? Do magnets die?

  • Magnets do lose their magnetism, yes. Their magnetic longevity depends the purity of the metal among other things. Only Iron, cobalt and nickel are magnetic metals which i find very odd. In fact, if you bash the shit out of a magnet it will slowly get weaker and weaker, also perplexing and quite strange.

  • wow!!!! good points!

  • You could make a tiny iron bridge

  • "lets see if i can ease this in"

    "woaahhhhh"

"ok make sure you dont spill"

    "this is pretty gross"

i think that says it all lol.

  • You are so fucking right he was a very irritating man. I hope i never cross paths with him. The other dude fucking hated him too.

  • "This is pretty gross" the other dude looked like he wanted to slap his ass with that bag.

  • MAN HAHAHAHA That was funny

  • how about extracting the cereal from the iron then eat some iron

  • if i had enough cereal would i be able to extract enough iron to make a sword?

then i could be a cereal killer.

thank you, im here all week.

  • Good joke (y)

  • haha lol

  • kill coco pops first i hear there conspiring... 5 stars that was really interesting.

  • @plezz82 you would spend a million dollars

  • nice

  • ooooooooooh nice proof that cereal is high in iron, because i need iron for long distance cycling, and its nice to see proof for freal its in my weetobix/cereal lol

  • would the sam thing hapen if i mashed up red meat and used a magnet on it?

  • "ooooooooooh nice proof that cereal is high in iron, because i need iron for long distance cycling"

No, that's proof that elemental iron has been added to your cereal.

"would the sam thing hapen if i mashed up red meat and used a magnet on it?"

No, it's already high in iron so there's no need to add it in elemental form.
