how come some crew were normal rowing (non-skulling) but did not have a coxswain? plz reply

Did you mean the coxless fours? 8s pretty much need a cox because they're so huge and unwieldy, but it is possible to sweep row 4s or doubles with no cox. Bow just has to look over his shoulder every so often. :)

(They're not always too good at that. We nearly collided with a men's coxless 4 on the water because they weren't checking their course often enough!)

actually i rowed for half a season this year because i am 5'5. the same size as all the girl lightweights at my school, the only reason i coxed half the season was because i am about 20lbs lighter than them

i'm a rower, and my coach had me in bow of a coxless4....we'll put it this way i'm not meant to scream i'm meant to pull...i couldn't steer for crap. i'm better now and i suggest looking over your shoulder every 3 or so strokes.

giamul szkoda że nie startowaliście na 4x+ i sorry z tą datą bo te zawody były 26-27 lipca ale i tak były tylko 4 osady :Zawisza Plock Lotto i my mieliśmy w 1 dzień walkę o tory to byliśmy 1 czas 5:41 a na drugi dzień też 1 z czasem 5:31 a nigdy wcześniej nie mogliśmy pokonać Lotto
