I have always spoke my mind on things to my own kid. Spoke my ideas of how I perceive Govt, Religion, Social Views, Wars etc. While I know she uses the basic morals on how to treat others I taught her I have always told regardless of what I believe or anyone else believes you have a mind of your own. You at some point will look at all aspects of life and must make up your own mind based on how you feel about it and not because someone including me told you you should feel about it. Free will.
