Minecraft Animation :: UPDATED Steve Rig with Download (Cinema 4D)

I try to open it, then when I get into c4d it says "picture viewer was unable to load blah blah blah.c4d

Hmmm....Dont know what I did wrong. Downloaded this file, opened it and complement textures. (cause char was all black except some parts of the face). Then I chose "File>Save Project". But when I would like to export my character for e.x to some another project (File>Merge) my char is again all black....help.

I know how to re-texture, but the labels aren't really helpful. I'm confused on which part of the skin to replace with. I've been working with trial and error for the past hours and I've still failed, lol. It would be great if you uploaded a tutorial. I'm VERY grateful that you have this rig up. You deserve much more than what you have on Youtube. Subscribed. Again, please upload a tutorial or at least respond on how to do this. Thanks!

@DreamGood404 You have to reapply the textures for them to not be black because it's in a differnet directory than before. But if your too lazy you could wait because I am trying to make the *hopefully* final version of the rig.

I appreciate that my music was embraced by the Minecraft community. However, the edit someone made that simply loops the finale of my track called "Earth" is missing the journey that was designed to take you there! Or, it's like eating the frosting off a cupcake, and then tossing the rest! Either, way I think it's cool you guys dig my music! Hopefully I will make more some time soon.

if the model is black, and no textures are loading on it, you have to reselect ONE of the materials from the folder that has all of the skins, and then when it askas, add the location to the application search path. then select all of the materials and right click them. Select load images, and it will have a skin.

OH I THINK I KNOW WHY! What do you do with all the .png stuff? Cause that contains all the images of skin... So if its in there i think that they would show up in color :D Can you just tell me how to put those in? By the way, im going to give you credit for helping me in my animations later on.

Taceo.. lol... The skin is on steve, its just black. I can take the skin off and it would be a normal grey block, but for some reason the skin just turns up black..

I figured out how to upload the intro after 4 hours :D it took 2 hours to render, but anyways, I want to know how to upload the skin you have on the video to him. @eric29965 on the rig with the face controls I haven't made it easy to apply skins... So the only thing you can do is reapply all the textures that were in the same download.

Oh yeah, and how do you upload the animations, and what do you use to edit them. Ex: Windows Movie Maker, adobe something... I really need help for that, too. I made an into that i was going to use and i cant figure out how to upload the 4d cinema file to the windows movie maker. And when you tell me how to install the steve rig, i will be making animated videos and i wont know how to upload them unless you tell me! @MrBlu3HoMi3 You need to have Cinema 4d Studio (r12 or newer) then click 'charter' menu, and select 'manager' then visual selector, in the visual selector (if it's empty) click 'tag' tab, and click to steve's eyebrow, eye, or something in the face. cinema 4d should download automatically the selector.

@Pr0ph3cyTech I am not sure how that works, but I think it's because you don't have the textures in the same folder as me... You'll have to try applying the textures again or changing the textures to another picture then changing them back. Anyways in the new version of the rig you'll be able to just change the whole skin with the regular skin pictures.
